Hey there, I’m planning on picking up a new monitor soon. At first, I was leaning toward the Dell UltraSharp Monitor, which is about $415, but then I stumbled upon this Samsung Monitor for around $353. I'm trying to figure out which one is actually the better deal since I can't find much in the way of reviews online. I did see a YouTube video featuring the Samsung Monitor playing Fife 2012, and the image looked pretty great, plus it's quite affordable. Some reviews for the Samsung Monitor mention trailing issues and color banding as downsides, though they did note it has good picture quality.

I did see a YouTube video featuring the Samsung Monitor with some FIFA 2012 gameplay where the image looked pretty great, plus it’s quite budget-friendly. Looking at reviews for the Dell 23, they mention trailing issues and color banding as downsides, though they do praise the good picture quality.

Both the Dell and the Samsung models utilize a TN LCD panel, and honestly, both look sharp enough that you won't make a massive mistake regardless of which way you lean, though the Dell will certainly be easier on your wallet.😉

The real deciding factor here is just how many US Dollars you're willing to part with, and if you had mentioned your actual budget right off the bat, we could have just picked the best option for your specific price range.😁 😉

Well, $400 I was leaning toward the Max, but honestly, I'll take whatever is cheaper at this point. From what I've gathered while reading up on it, people say it's actually great for gaming. Based on some YouTube clips I watched, the picture quality looks pretty solid. I guess the main downsides people mention are color banding—not entirely sure what that entails—and some trailing, which I assume is just ghosting.

If you can snag the $400 or something even more budget-friendly, then honestly, just go with that Dell 23 model and call it a day. You really won't find a better deal for a 23-inch screen that stays under $350. At that point, it's purely your call whether you want the cheaper Dell or to spring for the slightly pricier Samsung model.😁😉

I’m leaning toward picking up the Dell, honestly. I managed to track down a review for it, which helps. The Samsung isn't bad either, but I don't know much about it—I haven't seen any real opinions floating around. Besides, this Dell seems like a genuine steal, $353 it's not even

Hey there,

How are you liking that Dell UltraSharp E2343F2? I’m currently on the hunt for a new monitor, but I haven't quite fallen in love with this one yet. 🙂

Thanks!
