What kind of replacement cables should I use for these speakers? I am looking for clear jacket wiring for the satellite speakers—roughly 65 feet for each unit. Should I be looking at 14 AWG, 16 AWG, or something else entirely? 😕

I realize this is a novice question, but isn't it better to ask now than to buy something incompatible later? Thanks. 🙂

Even though we're talking about computer speakers, you should probably head over to the audio/video subforum to ask that... 20 meters is a pretty significant distance when you start worrying about signal strength and interference (a cable that long can basically act like an antenna picking up noise 😬), so you might actually need some shielded cabling...

Thanks for the input, darkowl72. I did some digging and you were spot on—shielded cables are definitely the way to go. The speakers are hooked up now and they sound fantastic. It turns out I didn't actually need 65 feet for every single one; 25 feet for the fronts and 30 feet for the rears did the trick perfectly. 😬
