Kudos to her, but I wouldn't go under the knife for that actress for any amount of money. No thanks. Risking something as vital as breathing and facial aesthetics just to get those tiny, pointless noses she ends up with? Absolutely not. But then again, who actually likes 😉

Karen Ross84 said:I’ve already had my initial consultation and now I’m heading in for a CT scan before returning for another check-up... I’m just trying to get a sense of how long the wait actually is from that last appointment until they finally schedule the surgery.

Well, I have some firsthand experience with the facility in the suburbs, because I had my first exam on May 16th and was prescribed medication to improve my mucosal lining. I returned for a follow-up on June 30th, at which point the conclusion was simply that my lining is naturally sensitive—the usual runaround—and if I want to breathe properly, I need to go through with the surgery. When I asked about timing, he suggested this autumn, but I told him that won't work since my semester starts; I'm starting college and I have no intention of missing those freshman orientation days. He then asked if August would suit me better, and since that works, he penciled me in for August 16th and handed over the paperwork for the necessary tests.

So, you're looking at roughly a month and a half of waiting, though it could easily stretch longer if you decide to skip August. They don't have much on their plate right now, but even so, most people seem to be getting pushed toward the fall.☕

Mine were taken off on Wednesday, and I am just sitting here, incredibly impatient. I find myself studying every single millimeter in the mirror. 😂
The base still feels quite swollen, and as for the tip—well, I won't even go there. It honestly looks larger than it did before the surgery. 🤣

Did yours slim down yet? I am honestly terrified that my tip is going to stay this puffy forever. 😲

hahahahahaha just go back and look at my old posts... honestly, I was just as terrified about my thick little "ball" tip as anyone else. 😂
The good news? It’s definitely going to die down eventually. The bad news? You're looking at a serious waiting game. For me, it took a solid four to six months before things finally started to settle. Just hang in there.

Has any girl here actually gone to Glumičić to get her nose done? If so, would you be willing to send me some photos? You don't even have to show your face or anything, just curious! 🙂

The good news is that it will eventually flatten out, but the bad news is that it takes quite a while. For me, it took anywhere from four to six months.

I was actually scrolling through your posts yesterday 😁 which gave me some comfort, but then I looked in the mirror and felt depressed all over again... I had so much swelling, and while everything else is smoothing out nicely now, that tip on this nose of mine still looks like a foreign object 😁 It looks the worst when I'm caught in a profile shot. 🙄

I know it needs time, but I can't help feeling anxious that this might just be how it stays.

I feel the exact same way about the Vrsak—it’s just a total mess... though if you catch it live, it's somewhat decent, but looking at photos? Absolute disaster...
I'm not sure if anyone else has had any luck with it regarding the Vrsak, but for me, it gave me a tiny bit of a boost (barely, really) and that was it. There's just no way to tone it down...

I'm not sure if anyone else has had issues with their nipple after surgery, but mine just lifted up a tiny bit, and that’s about it. You can't really shrink it down...

Why isn't it possible to shrink it? 😕

rustygardener172, could you please, please send me a photo from two weeks post-op? 😁

Well, usually you can't correct the tip too much because of breathing issues... like, you actually wouldn't be able to breathe. And since I have thick skin, it's just a mess...

Kate Taylor59 said:Well, the tip is usually the hardest part to fix because you can't mess with it too much without affecting breathing... if you go too far, you won't be able to breathe at all. And since I have thick skin, this whole thing is just a nightmare...

Oh, please... 😢 That is exactly what I’m terrified of. Honestly, I would undergo surgery just to get rid of that stupid, unsightly tip. I realize you can't slim things down significantly if the tip is already narrow and small, but for heaven's sake, if the tip itself is wide and the bridge is bulky, shouldn't bringing everything to a normal, average size be fine? It shouldn't impact breathing functionality, right? At least, that's what I'm hoping.

But it's so strange. I always assumed rhinoplasty was most difficult because of breaking bones and removing humps, but apparently... the real issue is the tip.

The tiny, unnatural, pointless nose jobs he does just aren't my style... no thanks... though I wonder who actually likes 😉

I actually had a consultation with him myself. My nose isn't small to begin with, and he was incredibly blunt, telling me right away that it wouldn't end up looking "small" because my face is too large and round for that sort of thing.

I’m planning to post some photos tomorrow, both the old ones and the recent ones. Even then, Glumičić mentioned that what I have now isn't even close to how it will look after everything is finished. I’m still not entirely happy with the results, but at least we’ll be able to see all "my different stages."

As for his technical expertise regarding breathing and respiratory function, I really can't say. I don't have any experience in that area, nor did I bother to ask about it.

I’m going to post some photos tomorrow—both old ones and the recent ones. Though, as Glumičić pointed out, this isn't even what the final result will look like yet. I'm still not quite satisfied myself, but at least we'll be able to track my "different stages."

As for his expertise regarding breathing or anything like that? I won't weigh in there. I don't have any experience with it, nor did I bother asking about it.

It's not like I want a tiny nose... but I definitely don't want a giant bulbous thing sitting on my face either. It would be nice if it were just a bit smaller, but honestly, it's too early to tell since the swelling hasn't gone down yet...
Look, the main thing is that your nose looks proportional. Mine used to be all crooked and uneven from everything, but now it's about 90% straight, and that honestly means the world to me. People always seem to want more and more—well, at least I do. It's never enough!😁 lol

I get that you can’t really slim it down much if the tip itself is already narrow and small, but for heaven's sake—if the base is wide and the bridge is bulky, surely bringing everything down to a normal, average size won't mess up my breathing? At least, I hope not.

It’s weird, though. I always assumed nose jobs were a nightmare primarily because of breaking bones and shaving down humps, but apparently... the real issue is the tip.

My surgeon told me: "If I narrow the bones higher up, the skin will pull tight and everything will naturally look smaller." And honestly? He was right... it looks great, and the tip looks better now too... automatically. Because, as he put it, the tip always needs to be slightly wider than the rest of the bridge. He basically said, "I can train your skin to sit tighter at the tip so it looks smaller, but don't come crying to me about how you breathe..."
If you have wide nasal bridges, maybe there's more wiggle room... In my case, my tip is huge and my bridge is tiny...
And regarding the cartilage on that hump... he told me he couldn't thin it out any further since it's already quite thin. It turns out it's actually my thick skin making the tip look so large :/ So, you can't really blame the doctor by saying, "You could have done more," or "You should have fixed this"... NO, you can't. The guy did EVERYTHING he could, he worked hard, and it’s in his best interest for me to be happy with my nose and his work...

Kate Taylor59 said:He told me straight up: "If I tighten the skin over those upper bones, the skin will pull back and everything will look smaller..." and honestly? He was right. It looks perfect now, and the tip actually looks much better... it’s an automatic effect because the tip always needs to be slightly wider than the rest of the bridge. That's what he told me; he said he can definitely train the skin at the tip to appear smaller, but I shouldn't ask him how that might affect my breathing...
If you have wide nasal bridges, maybe there's a way to tweak it... In my case, the tip is large, but my nasal bridges are incredibly narrow...
And regarding the cartilage at the tip... he explained that he can't thin it out any further since it's already quite thin. It turns out it's actually my own thick skin that makes the tip look so prominent :/ So, you really can't blame the doctor by saying, "Oh, he could have done more" or "He should have fixed this"... NO, you absolutely cannot. The man did EVERYTHING within his power. He put in the work. At the end of the day, it's in the surgeon's best interest for you to be happy with your nose and satisfied with the results he achieved...

👍 yeah

I was incredibly swollen before, and now everything is finally settling down, except for the tip. It looks like some kind of foreign object stuck on my nose 😁 and it looks absolutely hideous from a three-quarter view 🙄

I know healing takes time, but I'm still low-key freaking out that it'll stay like this.

Ugh, girl, I know *exactly* what you mean... especially that three-quarter profile thing. It’s like someone shoved a spatula (for those of you who don't know what that is 🙂 ) under your skin and just left it there. My biggest fear was that it would be permanent... but honestly, once I calmed down, I realized since they didn't touch the actual tip during the procedure, it *has* to settle back to how it was before surgery... and it did.
Don't stress, drago, just try to think logically... because of gravity, all that swelling eventually drains toward the tip... and since the whole surgery centered around the tip area, the skin just needs time to snap back into place.
I'm not near my laptop right now to dig up a better photo, but I'll DM you one I took on day 12 after my surgery. Man, my nose was so swollen back then, I didn't even realize how bad it actually looked.
As for me, my nose gets more beautiful every single day!! 😍

I’m looking into getting septorhinoplasty done. I was thinking about seeing Glušac since I’m based in Canada and he’s the closest option for me (I definitely don't have plans to go to Sarajevo). Has anyone here actually dealt with him before?

I'm not near my computer to find a better photo... but I'll send you one I took 12 days after my surgery via DM. My nose looked so incredibly swollen then; I don't even think I realized quite how bad it was at the time.
Personally, I feel like my nose gets more beautiful every single day!! 😍

I actually needed to reduce my tip, which is why I'm so worried about it staying the same as before. 😢

Your nose looked great even just 12 days out.

Hey everyone! Just a new user here who’s basically read this entire thread from top to bottom.😁

Based on what you guys have shared, I've narrowed my list down to Davor Džepina, Ostojić, Tončić, and Bastajić, though it looks like Bastajić doesn't even have an official website.
If I got this right, his price includes one night of post-op recovery, but does anyone know how Ostojić and Džepina handle that? (The Džepina from the Midwest area who doesn't work with Glumičić 😬 ).

Kate Taylor59 said:Davor Dzepina runs a private clinic inside the Almeria shopping center, right by Lidl... there's a Walmart right across the street... he also works at Mercy Hospital dealing with really tough cases like tumors and stuff...
And honestly, I don't regret spending those 1800 bucks at all. I had a deviated septum and a nose that was a total mess from every angle, but it's fixed now... just a heads up; I actually had some complications during surgery—lots of bleeding—and the doctor was super stressed trying everything he could to make sure it turned out okay...

Sorry to just jump in like this, but do you happen to know if the price drops if it's just a rhinoplasty without fixing a deviation? I know that's usually how it works with other surgeons, and probably him too, but he didn't list prices on his site. Thanks in advance! 😁

Honestly, there are quite a few of us in this group who have gone to him. I had my procedure last year around September and I am seriously thrilled with the results. It fixed both my breathing issues and how everything looks. If you want the lowdown or have specific questions, just shoot me a PM.

Sorry to just barge in like this, but do you happen to know if the price drops if it's strictly rhinoplasty without a septal deviation? I know that’s standard practice with other surgeons, and probably him too, but he hasn't listed specific pricing on his site. Thanks in advance. 😁

I'm not sure if you can stay overnight with Dr. Davor Dzepina, but I'm sure it's an option...
As for the cost, it'll likely be a bit cheaper if there's no deviation....
I definitely recommend Davor Dzepina; I actually dreamed about him last night, haha, I'm honestly just fascinated by the man. 😛
