I honestly don't think it's right to badmouth certain doctors like this. I was operated on by Vladimir Bedeković and he did an absolutely amazing job. I also know two other women who had their noses done by him—they look beautiful and are both incredibly happy with the results. I am truly sorry you aren't satisfied with how your surgery turned out. Also, just for clarity, Orlando has been around since 2004, so Bedeković didn't start it, nor is he even from Vinogradski. A lot of doctors from Vinogradski work at Orlando, and Bedeković just treats there occasionally (I actually called them, and they told me he mostly goes there for facelifts when they specifically request him, maybe a few times a year).
Please don't take this as me trying to be a know-it-all or being insulting, but I just felt I had to say that attacking people like this isn't okay.
Best,

Look, honey,

this forum is a place to share opinions, personal experiences, and viewpoints—which is exactly what I’m doing, quite honestly.
The reality is that Vladimir Bedeković has spent years taking cash under the table and then performing surgeries using insurance at the public hospital (Vinogradski, which is basically asking for an audit from every regulatory agency in the country☕). The hard truth is that he completely ruined my nose and messed up my breathing.
Either you're emotionally attached to him, or he was just really charming during one of your follow-ups, because otherwise, I don't see why you're jumping down my throat and giving him free advertising🤷. I mean, if I'm just laying out the cold, hard facts, why would my post bother you so much?

Best,

Look, I get it—this thread is super detailed and there have probably been a million posts about this already.
But, I seriously need some help here.
I’ve got a few questions... basically, about two and a half months ago, I had nose surgery at a private clinic (it was purely cosmetic, no deviated septum issues or anything, btw I'm 17).
Well, summer is winding down now and I’m trying to figure out if my nose has actually changed since the beginning of the season.
1. My biggest issue is still smiling. My nose used to be really droopy, but now it’s quite lifted, and I think the muscle just went through a lot of stress 🙄—I still feel so stiff! Honestly, I look ridiculous when I smile. Plus, there's this pulling sensation whenever I laugh from the heart, and it drives me crazy. I always find myself holding my nose while I laugh because I'm terrified something is going to stretch or shift. So, if anyone else has dealt with this, can I actually laugh freely despite that tightness without worrying the tip will drop or something??!!!🤷I know I'm being paranoid, but after 17 years of living with a nose that was practically a stump... you have to understand where I'm coming from!
2. The tip of my nose is still kind of sensitive to the touch and looks slightly swollen, though other people don't even notice. But I see it when I lean into the mirror and really inspect it.
Do you guys think that's normal too?🙄I can't wait for the swelling at the tip to go down because right now I look like I got stung by a bee... right on the tip of my nose...😠
Help me out, thanks in advance....

Next time you stumble upon a thread about something you're interested in, just post there instead of starting a whole new topic.

🙂
Look, I don't have any emotional attachment to the doctor. He didn't grope me, aside from accidentally bumping my nose—which, honestly, makes sense given the circumstances. 🙂 >> He hasn't taken a dime from me, nor has he scammed anyone else I know.
I’m just stating my own experience. He did a lousy job for you, but for me, he was perfect. I’m saying this so some third party reading this doesn't look at your post and assume the guy is a total hack.

redcobra92, I totally get why you're so frustrated with that doctor given everything you've been through, but honestly, this post feels a bit mean-spirited and, if I'm being honest, probably shouldn't have been made.

Daniel Richardson4, it’s been just over two months for me, and I still get this really weird sensation whenever I laugh—my nose feels swollen, especially at the tip. I even tried putting on my old glasses, but there's no way they'll fit because my nose has gotten too wide. 🙄 I guess we just need to be patient and give it some time to settle down.

I am aware that hospital stays tend to be relatively brief, but I find myself wondering if using a computer might be permitted during one's stay (assuming I actually end up needing to be admitted)? 🙂

I was out at the Vinogradski vineyard with my own laptop, just piggybacking off their wireless signal. 😉

Can anyone recommend a truly great clinic in Indianapolis or somewhere nearby for rhinoplasty?
I'm not quite sure how to describe it—it’s almost like my nose looks broken, or there's this bump sitting too high up...

Something similar to this:

If any of you have had surgery yourselves—or even just know someone who has gone through it—I'd really appreciate some recommendations for doctors who actually do amazing work.

I was looking into this one clinic, though... what do you guys think?

Any good or bad experiences out there?

Thanks!

So, the price at the clinic mentioned above for my nose job is roughly 10 $0.00. Ouch...
Does anyone know where I can get this done a bit more affordably without sacrificing quality? Maybe somewhere near Indianapolis—or even Washington, D.C., if I really have to...🙂)
Thanks!

I find it hard to believe that a nose job would take less than 10 $0.00 🤷

Is there anywhere else I can go that’s a bit more budget-friendly but still does killer work? Maybe somewhere near Indianapolis, or even New York City if I have to make it my last resort? 🙂)
Thanks!

Look, you aren't going to find it cheaper than that... honestly, that price is actually kind of a steal... if you're looking at private specialists.

Thanks so much...
I was looking through this thread earlier—it looks like people were getting paid somewhere between $1,000 and $1,700... which is actually less than 10 bucks... $0.00 If we’re looking at roughly $1,000... though I doubt that covers the hospital stay, all the tests, and the consultations... 🙂

Or maybe it's 10... $0.00 So, I have to deal with the surgery itself—plus even more costs for consultations, checkups, and the hospital stay? ...just great...
Just asking, since I'm a student and I'm footing the whole bill myself... 😁

brightcanyon45 said:la Diosa, I’m totally sold on this... your results are seriously a perfect 10! Honestly, out of all the photos I’ve seen on this forum, yours are probably the best yet. I’m not a regular here, so I can’t quite recall if you mentioned something about that famous little bump—or ball, or whatever you call it? Did that issue pop up for you too 🙂... Anyway, huge props to Dr. Toncic 🙂

Okay, I've been reading through everything... I feel a bit more at ease seeing people praise Dr. Toncic. I’ve actually decided to go see him myself; I just need to schedule a consultation. I have to admit, I’m feeling pretty nervous! I don't exactly have the budget to go running around to every different surgeon for consultations... nor the time. Where exactly can I find those photos everyone is talking about?

I’ve been scrolling through this thread, and it looks like people were paying anywhere from $1,000 to $1,700, which is less than 10 $0.00 if you're calculating based on a $1,000 baseline. But honestly, they probably didn't include the hospital stay, all the tests, or the consultations in that number. 🙂

So, is that 10 $0.00 just for the surgery itself, while I'll actually have to shell out even more for the consults, exams, and staying at the facility?
I'm asking because I'm a student and I'm footing the entire bill myself. 😁

That was a while ago... Back when I was looking into it for myself (functionality plus aesthetics), prices were hovering around 12 to 15 $0.00... maybe $2,000. I remember some girls paying as much as 18 $0.00 to Zambelli. Most likely, the aesthetic part alone is cheaper... like that 10 $0.00 you mentioned. Or maybe certain procedures are cheaper if you go with doctors who aren't exactly "celebrity" status... I don't know.

Hey, I have a question. Is it possible to get surgery for a deviated septum before turning 18? I’ve already consulted two different doctors about this. One told me that since the nose keeps developing until you hit 18, there's a risk it could just deform again after the procedure—and isn't it true you usually only get one shot at nose surgery? The other doctor claimed development is definitely finished by age 16. Honestly, my breathing issues are becoming a major problem, and surgery seems like it would solve most of it. As an athlete, this is really getting in my way during training; I feel like I'm constantly struggling with oxygen intake.

Has anyone here gone through nose surgery before they turned 18? Do you know anything at all about how it works?

Thanks so much. I'll definitely do some deeper digging when the time is right—no rush at all. :-))

That’s great; you should receive the information immediately upon completion of the work 🙂 provided everything proceeds according to plan—unless, of course, it doesn't. 🙂 😁

Hi there!
So, this is my very first time actually posting, though I’ve been lurking and reading through all 276 pages for quite a while now.
I just turned 15 recently, but—I know it sounds early—I already feel like I want nose surgery.
I just can't stand it. It isn't massive, per se, but it isn't exactly small either... and what bothers me most is that there's this bump on the bridge 😢
I honestly hate my profile pictures 🤦.
The thing is, nobody has ever made a negative comment about my nose—not once. When I mentioned to my best friend that I wanted to get it done, they just gave me this look, like, "Why would you even bother?" Okay, so maybe my nose isn't as disastrous as it feels to me, but I still think I’d feel so much more confident if I just had it fixed. Plus, I’ve seen so many photos of your new noses posted here and—wow—they are absolutely incredible 😍.
My plan is to go through with it when I'm 17 or 18, basically as soon as I’ve saved up enough money.
I really don't want to have to travel all the way to Washington, D.C. for it—I heard Dr. Glušac is located out in Makarski, right? 🤷
I’ve noticed in several posts that people seem to highly recommend them.
So, would you say they are a good choice, or should I perhaps start looking into other surgeons instead??

Hey, you should probably take a little time to scroll through the threads; there are quite a few comments about him, and I'm sure someone will reach out to give you some specifics. Personally, I'm planning on heading to see Dr. Glušac as soon as I wrap things up at work. He isn't exactly a household name everywhere, but honestly, so many people have had incredibly positive experiences with him. Cheers!😉
