I’ll admit, I’m rambling a bit here, but those people who aren't happy with Glumičić are likely just deeply insecure and chasing impossible standards. The man is truly the king of rhinoplasty.☕
I’m sorry, but I absolutely disagree.😉
I had my nose done by Glumičić, and honestly, I’m even less happy with the results than I was before the surgery.
The issue is that she’s opting for a cookie-cutter look. She’s lowering the bridge, making the nose look "washed out" in profile, and over-elevating the tip. On her specific face—with those large eyes, full lips, and a somewhat square jawline—that nose just doesn't harmonize with her other features, even if the profile looks softer.
It works for some people and fails for others. As I’ve already pointed out, that specific nose shape was common about twenty years ago, but it’s considered outdated now—which is exactly why so many people end up seeking revision surgery.
A surgeon who churns out cookie-cutter noses using the exact same template—someone whose work you can recognize instantly on any face, famous or otherwise—is a hack. If they’re just shortening a nose without actually considering the patient's unique features, they aren't a real surgeon in my book.
Personally, I’m not a fan of those "celebrity" noses. Take Taylor Swift’s first nose—not enough cartilage—or look at Hrgin, blankin, Petra Dugandžić, and the rest. They just don't work for me.
I won't even bother discussing the various bumps and irregularities that can appear on the nose following surgery. These issues are clearly visible in other patients as well, and they are quite obviously the result of overly aggressive or insufficiently skilled—perhaps even rushed—cartilage resection.
If anyone's into that sharp, pointy nose aesthetic, go ahead.
That being said, we really need to emphasize that he must consider how that nose will actually sit on his face.
Disappointment can be massive. Not every surgeon possesses the necessary eye for detail; most find it much easier to simply go through the motions and perform the job routinely.
Just a quick heads-up: think long and hard about what you actually want when you're considering nose surgery—or any facial contouring, for that matter. You need to consider how one feature affects the entire look of your face.
