Why is everyone hating on people who listen to country music?

There are certainly folks who listen to country music but also appreciate much higher quality stuff, which shows they have more depth than just that one genre. Well, you see huge crowds listening to country music in NYC all the time, so why would that be considered a primitive environment?🤷

Shallow lyrics, accordion solos, and constant whining define that genre of music, while shallow minds, guns, and cheap thrills seem to be what most of its listeners are after. ☕

I've lost count of how many times my "metalhead brothers" have turned out to be absolute trash, while the local guys from the neighborhood who mostly listen to country end up being a solid, decent crew. You shouldn't look at it that way.

But honestly, how many times have we run into each other at a local diner or a Starbucks, listening to great country music one minute and then switching over to some solid rock, metal, or hip-hop, without anyone ever making a scene? It’s always been perfectly fine, yet it seems like every social circle has those pathetic little trolls who go out of their way to manufacture this sense of hostility, simply because they are so incredibly miserable and dim-witted that they lack the basic social skills to just enjoy themselves, instead choosing to compensate for their own stunted personalities by constantly belittling everyone else's subcultures!...
