I just had my checkup at Mayo Clinic—my brother actually pulled some strings to get me in since he works there—and it turns out I’ve got a deviated septum. They prescribed some meds for the inflamed lining, so I’m heading back for a follow-up on June 16th. I’m hoping my brother can tag along, too. My goal is to tell them to just fix the deviation and that bump once and for all, and then fingers crossed for a green light on the whole thing. 😁

I think your situation is actually quite different from mine. In my case, I was dealing with an injury, and honestly, my nose looked much better before I ever went under the knife. I don't think you'll run into any issues, though I do regret not seeing a cosmetic specialist immediately to handle the aesthetic side of things...
because while the surgeons at the hospital fixed my breathing and smoothed out that bump, they didn't touch the actual damage from the accident at all. If anything, it feels like a step backward; I ended up with this extra bit of cartilage right on the tip after the surgery. It’s just frustrating—it left my nose looking just as unappealing as it did before.

I recently underwent an examination at Mount Sinai, where my brother was able to pull some strings and arrange a consultation with a specialist who practices there. It turns out I have a deviated septum, though the doctor did prescribe some medication to address the inflammation in my mucous membrane first. My follow-up appointment is set for June 16th—and provided my brother can join me, as he's helping navigate this—I intend to discuss having the deviation and that unsightly bump corrected once and for all. From there, I am simply hoping for a positive outcome. 😁

My physician followed a similar course of action, renewing my prescriptions and scheduling a follow-up appointment for two months from now.
I find myself facing an upcoming surgical procedure at the local community hospital, and I couldn't help but wonder if anyone else here is scheduled to undergo treatment there around the same time? It would be quite helpful to know if I might have some company in the waiting room.

I’ve actually seen him, and people compliment my outfit quite often lately.🙂😍I am beyond impressed.😍

It's funny how that works—you go somewhere, get inspired, and suddenly you're walking around feeling like you've got that extra bit of style.🙂😍I am absolutely thrilled!😍

I’m honestly just so happy for you! It really warms my heart to see things working out this way. 🙂 ... if only I could be part of that, along with everyone else. 😢 Oh boy, I’m feeling a little bit of that pre-game anxiety right now... honestly, I am absolutely dreading the mold removal process. It's one of those moments where you just want to hold your breath and hope for the best!

But let’s be real, all four of those women are total perfectionists who are basically addicted to plastic surgery. Not one of them has ever just gone in for a simple nose job or a little lip filler and called it a day. I actually wrote a whole rant about this a few days ago... once you start messing with your tissue like that, it gets deformed. Glumičić isn't to blame for how they ended up looking because nobody can predict how your body is going to react after surgery... the only stupid part is him agreeing to operate on someone who is clearly never going to be satisfied. It's like, "Oh, if I turn them away, they'll just go to some other surgeon..." please, give me a break. Let them go... and half the time, they do. Like we're supposed to believe Zambelli somehow "saved" Severina's nose? In my opinion, there's no saving that nose. You can see the nostrils even from the front!!!!! What else is there to say...

Hey ladies, so I finally had my nose surgery on Tuesday. They took out the packing yesterday, but today I’ve got this weird sensation like everything inside is just... swollen or full of something? Is it actually okay to try and blow my nose a little bit—or maybe like, gently sniff—without touching the actual nasal area? Honestly, the constant need to sniffle is driving me absolutely crazy.

I actually had mine removed yesterday too... and let me tell you, it is quite a cocktail of things in there—blood, mucus, scabs, the whole works. 🙂 My best advice? Don't touch a thing. No blowing, nothing. Personally, I just take a tissue, gently press it against the very edge of the nostril to soak up any moisture, but I make sure NOT to dig around in there. You really just have to grit your teeth and bear it. 🙂

Not one of them has ever had just a simple little tweak to their nose or lips. I actually touched on this in a post a few days ago... once you start messing with tissue like that repeatedly, it eventually loses its natural shape and deforms. It isn't Glumičić's fault if someone ends up looking unnatural; nobody can predict exactly how the tissue will react after surgery. However, it’s just plain foolish for a surgeon to agree to operate on someone who clearly has no baseline for satisfaction. That whole "if I turn them away, they'll just go to someone else" logic is so incredibly shortsighted. Honestly, let them go! Most of the time, that’s exactly what happens anyway. And as for Sevka? Like Zambelli trying to play hero with that nose... in my opinion, there's no saving that look. You can see the nasal bumps even from a straight-on view! There's really nothing left to say about it.

And honestly... you aren't wrong. But I still can't get behind his work either; it feels like all his patients end up with that same cookie-cutter look. I know, I know, everyone is different, but still...

But this specific one? It’s just... it's really bad.

So, thank you! 😍
I think I'm going to stop lingering here and reading all the horror stories, because I don't want to spend my whole day worrying about what my nose is actually going to look like once this settles. I can't even picture it yet!

Well, this is just... truly pathetic...

That nose is photoshopped to hell. It’s never looked like that—completely flat with some weird little bulb at the tip. I don't even know how to describe it properly... though you'd notice the fake look most when she actually smiles...☕Glumičić is definitely a man who knows how to listen. He’s a true gentleman. Every time I’ve been under his care, he hasn't missed a single beat... thank God for that. The real issue is that women rarely listen to him. Instead, they insist on chasing after these impossible fantasies that their own delusions won't allow them to achieve. I chose to actually listen to him, and that was my saving grace. I used to think, "He's just some expert, why should I bother listening to him?"... turns out, I was wrong.🤷☕

Every time I’ve dealt with him, he hasn't messed things up once, thank God. The biggest issue is that women just don't listen to them; they go in demanding something totally unrealistic that their actual facial structure can't even support. I listened to him, and honestly, that was my saving grace. I remember thinking, "Ugh, he's just some expert lecturing me," but I followed his lead anyway...🤷☕

He's prioritizing aesthetics above all else... he'll give her a tiny little nose, and then she won't be able to breathe, for heaven's sake...👎

I had my nose done about four years ago, and honestly, I can breathe perfectly fine now...😁My niece was actually just seeing him seven days ago for a rhinoplasty. Her nose looks flawless. I'm not interested in getting caught up in some petty gossip group here. I've seen him twice for two different procedures, and everything was 👍🙂. I have nothing against him, so I won't badmouth him for no reason.☕

Hello everyone... I underwent surgery this past Tuesday. Basically, I had a broken nose where the bones didn't heal quite right, so my surgeon had to go in and correct everything. I am running into one little issue, though; whenever I apply compresses to my eyes, they sting terribly because my skin is so sensitive. My doctor mentioned that this shouldn't be too unusual, but I was wondering if anyone else here has dealt with something similar? Thanks! 🙂

. I’m honestly just going to stop obsessing over this and quit reading for a bit; I am genuinely terrified about how my nose is going to turn out. I still can't even picture the end result!

Honestly 🙂... I’m right there with you. I can't see the final look either, and I'm just as anxious about the outcome. Good grief. Is it Monday yet? Seriously, someone hurry up and make it Monday.

Yeah, that stinging happens because you're probably making them too cold. You don't want to leave those ice packs sitting on your eyes for too long; it's just not great for the skin. Try wrapping the ice in a soft cloth so it isn't freezing directly against you. You definitely need to manage the swelling with something cool, but "ice cold" can actually do more harm than good if you aren't careful.

Just kidding—don't actually rub margarine or butter on your bruises to make them fade faster!

Maria Hall92 said:Yes, you should apply ice because they're getting too warm, but try not to hold it directly against the skin for too long—that isn't ideal. It's better to wrap the ice pack in a cloth so it isn't overly freezing. The goal is to cool everything down, but using something excessively cold can actually do more harm than good.

Maybe try spreading some margarine or butter on them—that might help them chew a little faster.

Mine have already turned yellow. I picked up one of those gels from CVS, and I even have a specific insert for it, but being my usual clumsy self, I accidentally left the gel sitting in the freezer. 👎It isn't just an issue when I'm applying cold compresses, either. Yesterday morning, that pain behind my eyes actually woke me up, and I hadn't even been using any soothing wraps throughout the night.

In any case, thank you. I had some rather silly theory spinning around in my head—honestly, it’s probably better if you never actually hear it. 😉

Yesterday morning, that eye pain actually woke me right up, even though I hadn't been using the compresses all night...

Anyway, thanks for the tip! I had this totally ridiculous theory running through my head, and trust me, you really don't want to hear it 😉

Hehe... well, you can definitely keep it in the freezer 🙂... I have one of those too; I'm convinced everyone does at some point 😁 hehe. Now, what was this theory? You've got me curious 😁

Honestly, I probably won't use them anymore; I spent the whole day today just pacing around the house because my eyes were stinging so much 😛 As for the theory... about a year ago, I had laser eye surgery to correct my vision, and since then, my eyes have been a bit more sensitive than usual. My current theory, which hit me yesterday morning, is that maybe that jerk of a doctor messed something up during the procedure—I mean, I woke up after the surgery feeling like there was grease in my eyes and everything was blurry—so perhaps he damaged something, like pierced a tiny membrane or something similar. I haven't heard of anyone else experiencing this kind of stinging before 🙂 All things considered, I am likely just being paranoid and overthinking everything...
