Carol Diaz31 said:That was pretty much my experience too... some people didn't notice at all (or just didn't mention it), while others would tell me I looked different but couldn't quite put their finger on why... and then once I actually pointed it out, they’d be like, "Wait, you're totally right!!" 😁
Most of the people I hang out with knew I was going in for surgery, though.
And those who think they won't see a difference? They usually only realize it when they go back and look at old photos. 😲

Oh, that sounds wonderful! 🙂)) I only told my inner circle, but I kept everyone else in the dark because I was dying to see if anyone would actually pick up on it... 😁

Carol Diaz31 said:Well, that’s how I made my decision, too... thinking about whether people might notice or how it would turn out. Honestly, most people responded to me based on those specific "personality traits" you mentioned earlier ☕... so I kept second-guessing myself. Eventually, I realized I was just going to keep obsessing over it regardless, so I figured, why wait? Might as well just do it now. 😁
Since curiosity is clearly killing you, I'll send you some photos via DM—I used to have a really prominent nose.

I am so glad you went through with it. It was the exact same story for me; I was terrified of looking "off," scared of the outcome, worried if people would notice, or if they'd start making comments... but you know what? Forget all that. The bigger issue is that nagging complex that keeps you up at night and makes you unhappy with yourself. Once you reach the point where you're seriously considering cosmetic surgery, it means it's something you truly need to address. I am so incredibly happy I did it. About two years ago, I reached out to Tony via email, we chatted, and I told him I needed more time to think. It wasn't until just now that I finally pulled the trigger. Looking back, I should have dealt with that mental burden much sooner.

Ladies, just go for it... if you have deep-seated insecurities, it will only make things better, even if it's just one tiny detail. I don't regret spending the money at all, even if it was a bit pricey. Seriously, I feel amazing right now. Such a massive RELIEF. 🙂

rustygardener172 said:That’s exactly the point, though! You want them to take what you already have and just refine it into something beautiful, not perform some total facial overhaul.
The "subtle and natural" look is the gold standard!! 🤣

Spot on 🙂) .. seriously, imagine waking up with this "perfect" nose, looking in the mirror, and realizing the whole face just doesn't match anymore—total disaster! If I tried to go with one of those tiny, dainty noses, I feel like I’d end up looking like a caricature from a reality TV show ;D Hahaha!

I’ve been wondering about something—for those of you who actually went through with the surgery, were you absolutely obsessed with your nose beforehand? Like, totally fixated on it? I'm curious if that mental loop actually stops once it's over... you know what I mean—does your confidence just jump up immediately? Do you finally feel like yourself and actually happy with how you look?
I honestly hate my nose (and I'm not just being dramatic, it really is pretty rough), and I’m kind of terrified that even after I get it fixed, I’ll still be stuck in this weird obsession with it.

I honestly hate my nose (and I'm not just being dramatic, it is genuinely quite ugly), and I’m terrified that even after I get it fixed, I'll still be stuck with this weird obsession over it!
🙂
I remember it so clearly—the day in fourth grade when I first really looked at my nose. I was walking down the hallway to get a snack, and this older boy just pointed right at me and started yelling, "Look how huge her nose is!" 😁 Needless to say, from then on, I either avoided going to the cafeteria entirely or I’d just sprint through the halls to get it over with. 😕

Over time, I eventually made peace with it, though I was definitely unhappy with it. It wasn't that I was having mental breakdowns or crying myself to sleep every night, per se... I just didn't like it. That was basically it.

And yeah, now that the surgery is done, I am completely happy with the results. I just wanted a normal-looking nose, and since my expectations were realistic, I ended up getting even more than I hoped for. There isn't any reason for me to be obsessed with it in a negative way anymore, other than the fact that I absolutely love it now. 😍... I don't go looking for flaws; if there are any, I honestly can't see them.
I always knew I was pretty, I guess, but now I feel truly stunning. 😂😂😂

Girls, I'm posting some photos. 😉

@Carol Diaz31/">@@Carol Diaz31, which doctor did you end up seeing again? I know I read about it somewhere, but my brain is totally blanking on the name! If you don't mind sharing, could you drop a pic too??

Honestly, I was never actually insecure about my nose in person. If you saw me face-to-face, it was actually fine, even with its little quirks—like that tiny bump on the left side, those two slight thickenings, and the slightly bulbous tip—but oh my god, the PHOTOS!!! It was a nightmare. I’m in my mid-thirties now, and looking back at my entire life, I can count maybe five photos where I don't look downright terrible; they weren't "ugly" per se, just "okay-ish" at best.
It wasn't that I spent my nights crying over an unattractive nose, but I definitely found myself craving a newer, more refined version of my profile.
And honestly? I just want to make sure that when I finally look back at my wedding photos, I won't be cringing at how I look. 😍
(By the way, there's no wedding on the horizon yet, nor is there a groom, but hey, a girl can dream, right?)
But if I could fly high on a cloud of happiness right now, I absolutely would! Looking back, my only real regret is that I didn't just go through with it years ago.

Honestly, my budget is the only thing holding me back—I don't have a credit card to spread out the cost, and whenever I actually start saving up, I somehow end up blowing the money on something else. :-))
I was wondering how the payment situation works over at Tony’s—is it strictly cash, or can you use cards?
Also, if any girl has been there before and wouldn't mind sending over a photo, feel free! :-)

Besides, I was always cute, right? Now, I'm gorgeous. 😂😂

Girls, here are the pics 😉

Middle school was a nightmare, but
nobody was messing with me... I had older brothers watching my back. ☕
Plus, I was the star player on the soccer team, so I had plenty of respect back in the day, haha. 😁

Your nose is fine, stop being dramatic. 😍

I didn't cry over an ugly nose, I just wanted a better one.
And now, I won't look hideous in my wedding photos 😍
(btw, no wedding in sight. No groom either. But hey, dreaming is free)
But yeah, if being happy makes me a dreamer, then call me one! Honestly, I'm just kicking myself for not doing this years ago.

Girl 😁 what do you even need? Nothing! As long as you've got that killer look 👍

Come on, let me see the nose, please 😉 I'm way more interested in the before shots first, then we can talk about the after...
Post them, please

People have been messing with me about my nose my entire life, both kids and adults. Older folks would literally ask, "Why don't you just get that nose fixed?"🤷 Even my best friend told me, "If you fixed your nose, you'd be gorgeous." She wasn't being mean, just brutally honest... But honestly, it felt like someone was throwing a comment at me almost every single day—nose this, nose that... And yeah, I'm less obsessed now. I don't even think about it anymore, even though it's still not exactly small...

stormyharbor2, it’s awesome that you’re finally feeling comfortable in your own skin—huge thumbs up for that!! 😉 I get the vibe that your nose is totally fixed now, but still fits your face perfectly (you know, what you said about it not being small, just well-proportioned) 😉 Since I have no clue what you looked like before... if you're up for it, shoot me some pics in a DM. You might actually end up being the inspiration someone else needs to pull the trigger on their own surgery 😁

Alright, I'm sending it over... I was just hanging out at Tony's place.

urbanowl13 said:Honestly, it’s just my finances that keep holding me back at this point. I don't even have a credit card to take advantage of those monthly installment plans, and whenever I actually manage to set some money aside... well, I just end up blowing it on something else entirely. It's a cycle, I guess. Maybe I'll get it figured out eventually, but right now, it's just one thing after another.
I was wondering about how things work over at Tony’s place—do they only take cash, or can you actually use a card there?
If there happens to be any girl out there who was over at Tony's place and feels like sending me a photo, please feel free to do so. :-)

Setting aside the whole surgery situation for a second, I have this massive issue where I just cannot seem to save any money if it’s actually sitting in my hands. It’s like... I don't know, maybe it's just how I'm wired? If I keep cash at home or even just tucked away in my wallet, something always comes up. There is always some random, unexpected expense that pops out of nowhere, and suddenly that money is gone. I guess the only way it actually works for me—if you can even call it working—is to move it straight into a savings account at the bank. Once it's tucked away in a formal account, I usually don't touch it. It’s the only way I can stay disciplined, I suppose. Money in the bank or it's gone. That's just the reality for me. 😁
I guess you can also just pay him in cash if that's easier. 😉

Sophia Harris96 said:God, I am just so incredibly fed up with this damn elementary school. Honestly, it’s beyond frustrating at this point.
They really shouldn't have messed with me... I mean, I've got older brothers looking out for me. ☕
And honestly, I was basically the MVP of the playground back in elementary school, so where else am I going to get any real respect? Hehe. 😁

Your nose looks ridiculous. I mean, what even is that? 😍

Thanks again. 😍

So, everyone ended up making jokes about my nose later on, which was just great. But honestly? Now, if anyone even thinks about getting too close to me, I tell them to back off—otherwise, they’re going to have to foot the bill for a brand new one. 😛

I absolutely loathe my nose (and I’m not being dramatic, it is genuinely hideous), and I’m terrified that even after I get it fixed, I’ll still be stuck with this weird fixation on it!
🙂

Well now... that’s a heavy one. 😁
Personally, I never had a complex about my nose. It wasn't crooked, it wasn't huge... nobody ever pointed it out. But over the years, it started leaning more and more to one side. 😁 Eventually, I noticed it, then other people did too... and they'd make jokes about it, though never to be mean. Plus, breathing was a total nightmare, so I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone and just get it fixed.
I don't necessarily think I'm prettier or more satisfied now... I've always been me... but at least I can breathe properly now, hahaha!
But when I really sit down and think about it... clearly, that "nose obsession" didn't just vanish. I'm still hanging out here on this forum even though my surgery was nine months ago. 😁 I still find myself staring at it, wondering if there was something else the surgeon could have done better... and I'm still constantly checking in to see how other surgeons work or looking at everyone else's results.

...speaking of which... Carol Diaz31... did you send me that photo? 😁
