How can I check how long another user is banned?

So, is there any way for me to check why another member got banned or how long their suspension lasts?😕

Look, when it comes to someone else's disciplinary record or bans, those details are strictly between the individual and the site administrators. For privacy reasons, we don't just hand out that kind of information to other members of the community.

The only way you can actually check on your own infractions or any active bans is through the official channel specifically set up for that—the User Support Portal.

I really need to shoot a quick DM to someone here, but I just noticed they've been banned. I'm assuming that's why the private message option is totally grayed out... does this mean I'm stuck unable to reach them for the entire duration of their ban? It’s kind of an urgent matter, I guess.

Look, the whole point of a ban is simply to prevent that person from using the forum's features as a registered user, and yeah, that includes having access to private messages.

I have a question, but I’m honestly not sure which category this fits under... so please excuse me if I’m in the wrong place.
Basically, there is one user here who seems to be obsessively tracking everyone’s business and knows way too much about every single person. I don't even post very often, yet somehow this individual managed to figure out that I lost my job. It’s actually pretty jarring, and frankly, I don't want this person contacting me because they seem like a total creep. Does anyone know how I can block them?
