Why is hate speech against Muslims being tolerated?

My focus is on racism and hate speech, which I encounter frequently in the Religion section, and I am providing a recent example from Politics/World... unless, of course, hate speech and racism directed at Muslims is permitted there (at least by your estimation). I certainly haven't seen anything to suggest such behavior is allowed in the Rules, so if it is indeed tolerated—given that no one seems to react or issue sanctions—I would request that you clearly state in the Rules exactly what kind of conduct is expected when a user registers for this forum...

Jason Clark7, are you actually suggesting that every single Muslim is exactly the same?
Does it suddenly become a personal insult to you if someone happens to have an opinion about people from Egypt or Pakistan?
Look, I'll be blunt: racism and hate speech aren't okay, period. It doesn't matter who the target is.

would you feel personally insulted if someone made generalizations about people from Egypt or Pakistan...?
no, racism and hate speech simply have no place here, regardless of who the target is...
wonderful, in that case, I suggest you take some actual action against racist remarks and hate speech directed at Muslims, or Egyptians, or anyone else... 👍
thank you once again 🙂

I’ve already put my two cents in
if anyone else has anything worth sharing, feel free to drop a link right here; honestly, it doesn't even have to be about Muslims

Who exactly is being targeted here, and who is being generalized?
Elsewhere in this same thread, Jason Clark7 insists—with his usual aggressive, angry tone—that one should hate certain groups of people, arguing that such hatred is somehow justified (specifically referring to Muslim hatred toward others).
And now he’s starting a thread about hate speech on the local news network...🤣

if there is anything else you find relevant, please feel free to post the link here; it certainly does not need to be restricted to discussions regarding Muslims
I intend to, which is why I mentioned the Egyptians... even within that group, there is a 10% Coptic minority, and I am certain they would just as much prefer a functional, normal government over a dictatorship ruled by extremists😉

Susan Price30 As expressed by:
Who exactly is being targeted here, and who is being generalized...?
I have been reflecting on the recent developments regarding the shifting landscape of American politics and how they impact our broader view of the world... It seems that certain established rules are being challenged in ways we haven't seen in quite some time. While others might react with immediate fervor, I find myself compelled to observe these changes with a sense of cautious deliberation... One must wonder where this trajectory leads us in the long run.
And on several other threads regarding this same topic... Jason Clark7 He emphasizes it—with that typical aggressive, furious edge... One should harbor resentment... To certain individuals... how can such hatred ever be justified—this specific animosity directed toward Muslims by others...
And now, just like that, they go and open a thread about... The issue of hate speech... Regarding the FAA regulations...🤣
Please provide the link and quote me properly, because I am... As stated by... It would certainly seem more aesthetically pleasing if you presented it exactly as you described above...

I wasn't even referring to that post, but rather this one
The West is always "to blame" for everything, hatred toward us is somehow justified, and we're just "denying them their rights," LOL... blah blah blah, etc.

😳 I know, my bad
I just wanted to clarify that last post...

Jason Clark7 said:We see this happening quite often in the Religion section; some users have complained about it before, and I’ve felt the same way. Here’s a glaring example from the thread regarding the unrest in Egypt. People there are being described in purely racist terms—as savages who don't understand freedom and deserve nothing better than a dictatorship. I actually reported one of those posts once, but nothing happened. If it’s possible, I’d love to see a rule added stating that Muslims on this forum are essentially a second-class tier where hate speech can be vented without consequence. That way, Muslims and the reasonable non-Muslims here won't waste their energy reacting to such dehumanizing treatment.
Thanks.
It's just because some people are uneducated idiots. Just ignore them. 👍pusa

Jason Clark7 said:I suppose I should begin... Some people claim... If parents force their religious beliefs onto their children, isn't that essentially pure fascism... and shouldn't that be classified as hate speech? It creates this strange double standard where religion is treated like fascism, yet things like sports or music lessons aren't viewed through that lens... so when a parent insists a child take up soccer or piano, it's considered perfectly acceptable... 👎
I filed a report on this post, and then I went ahead and complained about... FBI On the Religion forum, though... the moderator just got back to me and said that it's... A forum member's personal opinion....
So, every religious person who passes their faith down to their children is being branded a fascist... and this statement remains unpunished, dismissed simply as "personal opinion," all while the moderators of Religion sit back and judge the situation... 😲
By way of discussion, if someone were to suggest that fascism is present when parents force their atheism upon their children, one must wonder whether such a claim would remain merely a personal opinion... 🙄

If there is anything else worth noting, please feel free to post the link here... it certainly does not have to be regarding Muslims...
Well, this situation isn't just limited to one specific group... it applies to everyone else as well...

I don't think that’s quite enough to warrant a ban, though I can see why you might have landed there
🙂
Is religion itself equal to fascism?
Or is it just the forced imposition of religion that counts as fascism?

Furthermore, I should add one more point for now:
The term used against Muslims is inherently derogatory, yet I observe the moderators here treating it as perfectly acceptable when users employ it to insult them. Is this another instance where you believe such behavior doesn't warrant a ban?🤷
It is offensive to refer to Black Americans using slurs, just as it would be improper to shout insults at Catholics, or to mock those who live behind walls, or even atheists... and so on...🙄

They don't tolerate either group, but it’s hard to spot every time, so please report it when you see it.

Understood. It honestly feels like I have been reporting issues, yet nothing seems to change; as they say here, the moderator in question doesn't seem particularly motivated to act, though I will take another look at my recent posts... thank you for the response...
edit:
Actually, I just came across a penalty issued today for using certain slang and general trolling, totaling a full 14 points of violation:
Active Infraction (Points: 14)
trolling and insults

It’s clear there's zero tolerance here when the issue isn't just a single word, but rather how everything fits into the larger context.
As for that penalty, I’ll pass; other people's disciplinary actions aren't my business.

As for that suspension, I shall refrain from commenting, as those disciplinary actions have nothing to do with you.
It is fine, there is no need for you to comment, I merely wished to point out another recent incident where an insult directed at an immigrant was not even sanctioned properly, receiving only a ten-point deduction for being off-topic...

You again? Stop policing everyone else's posts before you end up getting banned yourself.
I’ll say it one more time: we don't tolerate any of that behavior, including what you're bringing up. But since staying online twenty-four-seven is impossible, things slip through the cracks—that's why we have the report function.
