First off, where’s the actual discussion thread? Spam has its own dedicated space, the news networks have their segments, and I’m positive the Agriculture theme has one too. This is a massive oversight! 🙂

And secondly: what in the world is actually happening? 🤷 Yeah, I'm repeating myself. 😵

Seriously, what is the vibe this year? Why are these mediocre singers with screeching vocals butchering classic hits instead of just performing some original garbage songs? And why does this have to drag on for seven whole weeks? 😲 I want the old Taylor Swift experience: just two hours of pure musical trash that you watch once a year, cringe at the songs and the performers, and then you're good for another twelve months. This is just bad. 👎 If I have to sit through this for seven weeks, I honestly think my brain might just melt by the third Saturday. 🤣

I guess whoever cooked this up thinks they’re being clever, thinking this would actually be entertaining. I still haven't wrapped my head around the whole point or the concept here, but what can you do? It feels like I'm stuck watching some low-rent, trashy reality TV show on a local cable network...

By the time this whole thing wraps up, I'll honestly be tempted to give myself a lobotomy with a kitchen spatula...

Honestly, what an absolute joke🙂! When I saw who pulled the most votes today, I honestly felt like walking into traffic. It’s always the same pattern at this national selection—some unrefined singer or a track that feels stuck in a bygone era somehow manages to win over the crowd. We get the same old tired tropes: sentimental ballads about home, local folk groups, or those predictable pop tracks from artists like Ivan Mikulic or Boris Novkovic. It’s as if people don't realize we actually need something catchy, high-quality, and maybe even a little bit "trashy" to actually make an impact at Eurovision. Why can't we just embrace something interesting for once?

Is there anything actually worth watching for some basic culture, like Hidi?

Oh, please! We aren't failing, we're just catching this late-season blizzard like we always do. Last year, Germany took the win because they used this specific strategy for picking their entries, so now we're just playing catch-up and copying them. Remember a few years back when some track with those heavy Middle Eastern vibes won? Well, fast forward to next year and suddenly everyone's acting like "Mary Magdalene" is the only way to go... 😂

So, I think I heard correctly that the song is already written and picked out, and now they're just down to deciding who actually gets to sing it? Which basically means there aren't any new songs coming, unless you count the one that's already sitting there waiting or 😕

I seriously don't get the whole concept—like, do they start off by covering some massive Top 40 hit just to prove they actually have vocal cords? Or what? I honestly don't see the point...🤷
