Hey everyone, this is easily the biggest forum in the US. Please, I’m asking you—don't laugh at me, this is actually serious. You'd be acting like total idiots if you mocked me, especially when I'm just looking for some help here. Basically, I'm dealing with an extreme, overwhelming sexual drive😢. I'm 21, and honestly, I've never even been with anyone. Look, I get it—I know what people are going to say, like "hey, if you can't find a girl, just pay for one." I hear you, I really do. But this constant urge is seriously throwing my whole life off track😢. I spend my entire day scrolling through Facebook, hanging out in chats, or wasting time on dating apps and all that junk😲. It's just this intense, relentless drive. I was reading online that there might be medications to help lower libido—things like Propecia or Proscar. So, I wanted to know if I should ask my doctor to prescribe something, or if maybe you guys know of other options that actually work? I don't really buy into that herbal, "natural remedy" stuff🙂. So... yeah. Please, I need some advice. I can't even focus on my hobbies or things I actually enjoy—like making music—because this constant craving for a girl, for sex, is driving me crazy. Just please keep the replies respectful and friendly; I'm not looking for a bunch of "lol" or 😂😂😂 stuff. Anyone doing that is clearly just being a jerk. Mocking someone else's struggle isn't it. Anyway, I'm just looking for help. Thanks!🙂

Look, I think it’s pretty obvious that any sensible person would suggest you go see a professional—like an actual specialist. What else would you expect?
It wouldn't be right for us to seriously recommend that you start popping pills without a doctor's supervision—just because you happen to be 21, have a high libido, and can't seem to think about anything but sex.
No, you really need to grow up and realize that seeking advice about medication—especially those kinds that might come with significant side effects and are actually intended for other conditions—is incredibly irresponsible, particularly when you're doing it over the internet.

We aren't about to suggest you just start popping pills without medical supervision—just because you're 21, have a high drive, and can't stop thinking about sex.
No, you really need to step up and realize that messing around with medication (especially stuff that might have some pretty intense side effects and was originally designed for something else entirely), and asking for advice about it online, is just irresponsible.

I hear you, and honestly, I’m already scheduled to see my doctor this coming week. I appreciate you guys holding back from laughing at me or being insulting—that's actually a huge deal to me. But yeah, I totally agree—it's best to get professional advice. Thanks!

Who would even laugh at you? People like that don't really belong in a community like this. 🙂 We take things seriously here—or, at the very least, we make a genuine effort to approach every issue with the gravity it deserves. 😉

That’s precisely why I’m telling you that it wouldn't be wise to go off and start treating yourself—especially not for the specific thing you mentioned.
You can find just about anything on the internet these days; frankly, you can find all sorts of nonsense. Before doing anything, one really ought to determine if there is actually an underlying problem, and whether that problem even warrants any kind of medical intervention.
