Hey,
I'm 22. Smoked from 18 until just a few days ago. Lately, cigarettes just didn't sit right with me. I don't really drink, maybe just on weekends. Over the last week, I’ve started getting this intense burning sensation under my heart in my chest. It feels like heartburn, but it isn't quite that. I gained a lot of weight after the summer and I've been living on junk food constantly until today. I deal with heartburn pretty often, but this sharp burning happens mostly on its own, though sometimes alongside the heartburn, especially these last few days. I know it sounds stupid, but can anyone tell me if this could be linked to the smoking? That's what I'm most worried about. I've been coughing a bit lately too, but I have a cold, so I'm not taking that too seriously. Should I just start eating healthier and call it a day? Back in June, I went to the doctor to get my lungs checked and everything was fine, but that's still what I'm scared of. Please help. Thanks for any answers.
