I’m fully expecting a total repeat of Korea, in every single sense of the word.☕

Frank Collins85 said:You really think so? Imagine a Ferrari F1 Cup with 20 identical red cars on the grid, driven by... I don't even know... Kubica, Vettel, Alonso, Raikkonen, Schumacher, Hamilton, Montoya... then we’d actually see who the better driver is!?!?!? 😈

Nah, that would be legendary 🙏

I mean having every team run two drivers where one wins and the other just plays wingman on the track when needed. 🤣
And since we're talking about Alonso wait, it wouldn't surprise me if he decided to plow straight into a wall at the worst possible moment. 🙄

Man, whatever they're feeding people at Ferrari, even Schumacher is starting to look like an absolute saint to me.

The 2010 World Champion. 👍

Part of me secretly hopes we see a repeat of 2007. 😁

Webber hits the wrong button or falls asleep at the start—given his recent luck—and Ferrari just cruises to a 1-2 finish.

.

Talk about being prophetic🙏

I'm right there with you😁

Just not sure which one you mean—Webber or Vettel🤷

But if 2007 happens again, it’ll be Vettel. At least I’m the only one here who called Raikkonen the champ😍

Roger Wright94 said:Sorry, Gil, I'm still here too.
Back then, I said—and I still feel the same way—that Webber is the one to blame, and honestly, I'd fire him on the spot if I could. Just saying.

I'm still hanging around 🤷

And I was saying this even after Turkey... My bad, Gil, there are still a few of us left. 😁 It seems like only what TBF has enough energy to keep repeating 😁 😁

That comment was meant to be tongue-in-cheek; I thought I made it clear I didn't actually believe only TBF and Helmut Marko are sticking up for Vettel. My point was simply that you all are in a massive majority regarding that collision.

But whatever, we can agree to disagree. 👍

Anyway, let's see how the remaining four drivers you think still have a shot at the title would rank. (Sadly, Button is out of the running).

Here is my list:
1. Webber
2. Hamilton
2. Alonso
4. Vettel

It’s a bit ironic, considering before I ever joined this forum, Vettel was one of my personal favorites.

Fernando Diaz. ☕

Like I said before, a part of me is rooting for Webber to take the title. Is there any other outcome I'd rather see?
So, we could be looking at another season where some veteran driver walks away with the championship. Again. 😁

Whatever. We can disagree all we want. 👍

Alright, let's get this moving. Let's see who the remaining four think they actually have a shot at winning the championship. Since Button is officially out of the running, what's the play?

Here’s how I see it:
Webber
Webber 2nd Hamilton
Alonso 2nd.
Alonso 4th Vettel

It’s pretty ironic, actually. Before I even joined this forum, Vettel was one of my absolute favorites.

I'll take Alonso over him any day.🤣

I think I’ve completely lost my edge here. Totally out of it.👎

I've got this stupid gut feeling that he’s going to clinch the title today, and honestly, I've been absolutely livid all day.😳

What do you guys think about the list?

Webber—honestly, let him win if he wants, but I don't want anyone handing it to him on a silver platter. If he does get handed a victory like that, he should just retire right then and there.
Webber 2nd Vettel
Hamilton 3rd.
Hamilton 4th Button
999. Alonso

Honestly, I think the worst thing that could happen to Vettel is actually winning the title this season. Only a total idiot would think he’s ready for that. It's way too early for him; there are still plenty of things he needs to figure out first.

That way, we’d get another year of some random driver winning the championship instead. 😁

It's hard to cheer for a guy who used to be everyone's villain, or whatever.🤣

Honestly, they should just sit down and have a good long cry together. I think they really need to vent.😬

Today?

At least Red Bull is looking brilliant in qualifying. 😁

stormybadger8 said:It’s tough to pull for a former villain, isn't it? Or maybe it's just hard to root for the old crew.🤣

Hey. 😳

stormybadger8 said:You really ought to track down Maminho and yourself.Honestly? I think they could use a good cry. If we just opened up to one another...😬

stormybadger8 said:I’m still pulling for Alonso, personally.🤣

To me, that whole situation just felt incredibly transparent and cheap.👎

I spent years backing Alonso back when he was the backbone of Renault. Even after his move to McLaren, I found myself rooting for him during that 2007 season—it’s almost like it became second nature to me. But watching him resort to such blatant complaining once it became clear that Hamilton was simply too fast and too good? That completely soured the experience for me.

I can still admit, objectively speaking, that he’s likely the most complete driver on the grid right now, but on a personal level, I just can't bring myself to respect him.

I don't have a stream running right now. 😢
But from what I can see, it looks like rain; they’re running about 10 seconds slower than they were yesterday.

Yeah, it's raining. I caught a random German feed, but the quality is garbage and it keeps stuttering.👎

It’s not even heavy rain, though. Looks pretty light to me.🤷
