Music cutting/editing tips?

So, I'm looking for a tool to trim music files... Ideally one that works directly with YouTube? I remember using an online one a while back where you just paste the link, select the specific segment you want, and you're done... I really need to find it again, but the name is totally slipping my mind and I can't seem to track it down. Does anyone know of a site or app that does this? thanks 🙂

It’s a YouTube to MP3 converter, but honestly, it comes with way more features than your standard tool.

The only thing that’s actually bothering me is this whole "cutting" concept...
If we can get some clarity on what that actually entails, maybe a solution will finally present itself. 😂

So, if I don't want to download the entire track, but just say... the chorus... Or maybe I download the whole thing first, then just trim the specific part I want to move over to my phone... 😁

Regarding "cutting" specific sections out of tracks, I personally used to rely on Audacity, but nowadays I use Adobe Audition. It’s top-tier for those kinds of tasks, which I assume is exactly what you're looking for 😁

Za Cutting. The musical choruses are decent enough, and you might want to try using Napster for this.

You can just set the bitrate to whatever you want and then hit that red record button. It’s pretty straightforward.

You could grab Microsoft for downloading stuff, and then just use Audacity if you need to do some cutting...
If you're really just looking for a specific chorus or a snippet, you can usually find those kinds of things on those various sites meant for downloading content to your phone

Audacity might actually be your best bet—you just record the specific part of the song you want straight from YouTube, so there's zero cutting involved. Plus, the software is totally free 😉
