Look, she basically dragged a file from her email onto the desktop and ended up either with a raw GIF file icon or she unzipped it and got an animated GIF that looks like a video to her.

My apologies, Benjamin King2—I might have misread things. That video is labeled as an mp4, but whenever I try to download it, it tells me I need to grab some software online first. Could you please help me out?

Hold on a second... are we talking about an actual file attached to that email, or just some random download link? Where exactly are you supposed to be grabbing this from? And what kind of software are you even looking to pull down from the web?

It isn't a link—just an mp4 attachment. About 4798kb, I guess.

With some help from a guy in my neighborhood—who suggested I download Medtronic—I managed to actually get the video to open. Anyway, thanks to everyone for the assistance!!
