Issues with my Samsung monitor - SyncMaster 940nw

Hi there, everyone.

My monitor was working flawlessly until just a few days ago—and now...

When I hit the power button, nothing happens immediately.🙂

Hehe, that little blue power light just blinks—in this steady, rhythmic way—for a few minutes, and then, suddenly, it kicks on and works perfectly fine for the rest of the day if needed.

I'm fairly certain it isn't a loose connection or some simple "bad contact" issue, but I'm honestly at a loss as to what could be going on...
Why won't it just boot up right away like it used to? Why does it need those few minutes to wake up?🤷

If anyone could point me in the right direction regarding what might be causing this...

Edit — the unit is about two and a half years old.

Check if you have the receipt and see what the warranty says. I’m pretty sure it should be three years, so if Tom is right—get it to the repair shop ASAP and let them deal with the headache of figuring out 😁
