Arthur Doyle70 said:Lewis Hamilton got slapped with a $10,000 fine just because he was too slow getting to the pits. Basically, McLaren was pinching pennies; they told him to shut down the engine so he wouldn't run out of that minimum 1 liter required by FIA regulations for fuel testing. Some guy actually had to get out and push the car... and there's your penalty. Long story short, 🤣

So why are we reading five pages of analysis over this? 🤔

Well, look at the sequence of events: the guy shuts off the engine, lets the car coast down the track, pulls the steering wheel off, climbs out, stands there in the cockpit holding the wheel while the car is still rolling, sits on the chassis, waves to the crowd, puts the wheel back on, jumps out... you get the idea. 🙂
Basically, part of me feels like he shouldn't have even walked away with that $10k fine, while the rest of us think the penalty should have been significantly harsher given all that nonsense—both for him personally and for the team. 😉

No, I wouldn't say that; rather, I am certain☕

In this context, my focus is primarily on Alonso.

Vettel is starting from the disadvantaged side of the grid, whereas Alonso gets the advantage of the clean side.👋

You sure about that? Seems to me everyone's starting exactly where they should. Only thing is, Webber's spot is gonna be empty.🤔

And what exactly would be the point of that? 🤷

Looking back at the results from the 2010 Canadian Grand Prix, it’s just one more reminder of how much of a chaotic mess the sport can be when things actually go sideways. You see names like Webber and Hossa popping up in the standings, and it really makes you wonder if any of these drivers actually have control over their fate or if they're just passengers in high-tech metal boxes waiting for a rainstorm to ruin their weekend. I remember sitting in my garage during one of those races, grease up to my elbows, thinking about how much easier life would be if we could just predict the chaos instead of being swallowed by it. It's all just noise in the end.

Well, that works for me 🤣

Maybe there’s some loophole in the rulebook😬 that 😂 Horner finds

Now they should probably penalize Alonso too 🙂

All that sliding and aggressive pushing out there, and they didn't even bother to say a word about it 😁

If Lotus doesn't manage to scrape together at least one point, I’m officially done following them.

Well, it’s a solid start, but I have this nagging feeling that Red Bull might just mess everything up and disappear from the lead. Let's hope they don't...👍
Bravo, Fernando Alonso is doing great. It's always good to have players like that in the game..
