Man, you are seriously obsessed with this rain, aren't you? 😁

Don't sweat it, things will still be killer even if it stays dry! 😉

I tried catching the San Diego vs. Los Angeles Lakers game last night, but honestly, watching with Smith is just impossible. If he starts calling the Canada Grand Prix 2010 on ESPN, I’m hitting the mute button immediately.😢

I know everyone loves to complain whenever Blake and Novak swap out Buemi and Alguersuari, but man, I remember when Slavke used to curse up a storm the second Toyota showed up in Formula 1, just because he couldn't tell if it was a Ferrari or a Toyota on screen.

Don't even get me started on all that mindless chatter and nonsense; the best anyone could do to defend themselves during an argument was just to say, "he slammed the door in his face."

Anyway, MUTEEEEE.☕

Look, man, don't even sweat it. 😉

The world today is just a massive pile of half-witted idiots running around causing chaos. You’ve got two choices: you can show your true colors and get blasted by them, or you can play dumb, join the circus, and manipulate the whole lot of them since you're easily thirty times smarter than they are. Honestly? Just go with the second option and enjoy your life. 😉

Fighting against a bunch of windbags is a total waste of time—you aren't winning that fight anyway. Better to just pretend to be one of them, do whatever works for you, and live your life. Screw the rest of them. ☕

..even though I'm usually rooting for rain, I really don't want it hitting this track... I'm fully expecting McLaren to dominate here, and any rain would just mess up their advantage on this circuit..

I don't even want to bring up all that nonsense about smoking or sucking on candy; back then, if you wanted to defend yourself against a verbal attack, you basically just said "he slammed the door in his face."

Anyway, MUTEEEEE.☕

Insiders are saying Novak, Jergovic, and Shapitt will be doing the broadcast.

I’m genuinely glad to see Vela moving over to the Arena. With four different channels to manage, they’re definitely going to need some top-tier commentators to keep things interesting.

So, who’s actually broadcasting this arena? Is it going to be some new channel you can just pick up with a regular antenna, or is it stuck behind those Bnet and DirecTV bullshit subscriptions?

Over in Mexico and Canada, they have Arena 1, 2, 3, and 4 available.

It’s carried via satellite, cable, and IPTV.

So, it's a safe bet that we'll see it pop up here on DirecTV, Bnet, Total TV, or maybe even DirecTV.

Now, in the States, there's always a push to include major competitions on free-to-air DVB-T channels. It's possible that Arena 1, which is included in almost every basic package, might eventually end up on the local broadcast towers too.🤷

Here is the link:

Look, I’m still sticking to my guns: instead of wasting cash on DirecTV or whatever, you're way better off just getting a satellite receiver and paying for card sharing. You spend the exact same amount of money and get a million more channels...

Even better? Just install Jdownloader 😁
just set up FreeIP and watch Hulu or other free internet TV. Pay absolutely nothing. 😁

Honestly, even if you had half a million channels, there’s no way you could ever catch them all...

Exactly... BUT I can watch a Formula 1 race without commercials, without commentators, using cockpit cams, live timing, and stuff like that. Once the race is over, I can actually sit through a press conference without being interrupted. I can listen to what the team principals have to say... I can watch MotoGP, World Superbike, WTCC, DTM,...
I can watch whatever sport I actually care about instead of complaining that nothing is being broadcast here. The point isn't that you can't watch half a million shows; it's that you actually have access to those half a million shows so you can find exactly what you want. It's about having the choice. For me, that costs about $160 a year, or $30 a month. How much does a basic cable subscription cost these days? ☕

I can tune into any sport I actually care about, rather than sitting here complaining because some local network isn't broadcasting it. The point isn't having access to half a million channels you'll never touch; it's having access to those specific channels that let you find exactly what you want. It's about the freedom to choose. For me, that costs roughly $160 a year, or $30 a month. How much is a standard cable package these days anyway? ☕

I have no idea what the standard TV fee is since I don't pay one—apparently our government lowered the broadcast fee lately too... I just have DirecTV...

In that case, what you've got isn't even that bad... it's actually pretty decent...

Anyway, what's the deal with this new streaming service coming out of Chicago? Is that where Vela is going to work? Does that service even offer unlimited Formula 1 coverage?

Watching Formula 1 without commercials... that would be pure heaven...

Opening thread. 🙏 🙏 🙏

Am I late to the party? 😬

Practice results are in - Mark Webber is looking smooth in P1, Sebastian Vettel has dropped out, Fernando Alonso missed the top 10 during practice, and Lewis Hamilton is sitting in second. ☕

Rain? Not seeing any sign of it. ☕
