Best headphones for onboard audio?

My headphones finally kicked the bucket, so I'm looking for a replacement.
I'm trying to stay within a budget of about $130-$140.
Mainly just for gaming and listening to music, etc...

That's a massive amount of cash to drop on high-end headphones. The thing is, audiophile gear rarely comes with a built-in mic, so you actually have to hunt for them if you want both...

Personally, I wouldn't mess around with that much money. I'd play it safe and just stick to one of Sennheiser's PC models, like:

No matter how great that headset might be (Bose, right? 😁), it doesn't have the onboard sound card that Mr. Rosi was looking for.
The G35, or maybe Madison Square Garden? 😬
