Though... honestly, looking at this specific one, I gotta say—out of all the Brosnosov flicks (and man, I dig them almost as much as I love Clint's stuff!), Mechanic might actually be his weakest link. It’s got a few decent bits—like how he meticulously plans out his hits, analyzes everything before pulling the trigger—but overall? It just doesn't hit for me. It feels kind of dull and way too drawn out with some seriously "weird" scenes (like when Steve's "girlfriend" slits her wrists and they just show up and stare at her?). So, a remake might actually turn out better... but hey, we'll see when it finally drops.
Personally though, I'm way more into Brosnosn's classics like "Mr. Majestyk," "Death Wish" (the original and the first two sequels), "Hard Times" (which is probably his absolute best, IMO), "Broken Arrow," "The White Buffalo," "Telephone," "Death Hunt," and maybe a few others...
But hey, just my two cents...
I think you totally missed "Once Upon a Time in the West"—that's easily one of the greatest ever made, and definitely a top-tier Bronsonov classic!
