So, here’s the situation: I’ve developed about ten tiny white bumps right on my tattoo and in the surrounding area... specifically on my inner bicep... can anyone offer some advice on how to get rid of them? I'm assuming I shouldn't be squeezing them, right?

I've got tattoos, but this has never happened to me before... 🤔
Is the tattoo brand new, or have you had it for a while?

My little one is only 7 months old. The bumps are quite small, but there are definitely a lot of them... they just started appearing recently. I’m really hoping to get this sorted out as soon as possible before things potentially get more complicated.

Look, I'm no doctor, but if I were you, I'd be washing that tattoo with a mild soap a few times a day and slathering on some aloe vera gel. It’s entirely possible your skin is just irritated from your clothes, sweating, or maybe even some fabric softener or detergent you used.
If things don't clear up in a couple of days, go ask a pharmacist for a cream recommendation or just head to a dermatologist.

I think I'll give that a shot... I should probably swing by the CVS just to be safe, too... It could honestly just be from my workouts or all that sweating... Oh well...

Most likely. Also, grab some wet wipes and clean the tattoo area during your workouts if you can. Stick to natural fabrics, too. Cotton rules.😉

Look, I’ve been there too—but seriously, DON’T try to scrub them off or anything. You don't want to mess things up, and you definitely don't want to wreck your skin or ruin the tattoo itself
I’ve got three tattoos, right? And they only popped up on one of them—and get this, I didn't even touch it, they just cleared up on their own

For me, they only showed up on one out of my four tattoos, and even then, it was just during those first 15 days while I was still wearing the wrap—mostly on the days I had back-to-back lectures at the university, so I was constantly pressing the film down and barely letting it breathe.

And honestly, the advice I got from the shop was that I could just let the edges peel or tear off a bit, maybe use a warm washcloth or something. I'll have to dig through my paperwork to check exactly what they said and then I'll post an update...

So I found this, but honestly, it looks more like advice for someone with a piercing. You’re probably better off just checking with a pro at the shop,👍

A localized infection caused by strep can be handled like this: pop the tops off the pimples, apply a warm compress for about 2 to 3 minutes, and then go with an antibiotic cream—not an ointment, since the cream actually penetrates better. If they keep coming back, I guess you should just see a doctor to get some actual antibiotics prescribed.
