Why would anyone here think they could throw me off my game? 😁 Let’s be clear—setting aside the whole single31 situation—even a hint of arrogance is fatal when you're trying to direct (especially when dealing with an amateur who thinks, "I just came up with this entire production plan in the last few days"). Besides, filming a documentary isn't like knitting a sweater; you can't just do everything by yourself—you are literally dependent on every other crew member, especially the one actually holding the camera. 🙄 In other words, if you approach the job with that kind of attitude—even if it's just amateur directing for someone's wedding invite—just don't bother; you'll never make a real film (it's the same stuff those professors at USC used to drill into the heads of directors like Matanic, Milic, and the rest of the big names in Hollywood 😬).

brightdriver75 was just trying to help; there wasn't anything offensive in his post toward single31. He just popped up out of nowhere like Jakov sedlar after četverored, except nobody started throwing bricks. 😕

Like I said, it's just knitting a sweater. ☕

Man, I really thought I could escape this kind of idiotic commenting—this incredibly malicious and nasty tone. Clearly, I was wrong. You call me arrogant? Is it "arrogant" to not want to lay out my entire vision to some random crowd on an online forum? Go look up the actual definition of the word; you might find it describes being private or reserved, not stuck-up. Who even are you to demand I reveal my ideas to you? And what gives you the right to play fortune teller and tell me whether I'll succeed or not? I've been around long enough and I know myself well enough to know better than some idiot like you if I can pull something off or not. I’ve waited a long time for this, and I'm certainly not letting some venomous blowhard ruin my plans.

Besides—not to rain on your parade—but I found a camera. For a documentary, I can either handle the gear myself or find a friend who'd be happy to help out for free. The idea of groveling to morons like you, begging someone to hold a camera for a measly fifty bucks—which wouldn't even cover their gas money—is just pure stupidity. I've never heard of such nonsense in this country. And let's be real, I haven't heard of any cameraman getting a massive paycheck, especially not a student who's just thrilled to get experience on a film set, which aren't exactly popping up everywhere around here anyway. But you're so dense you think everything works through begging and kissing up to people. Nope. Some people actually have enough intelligence to decide for themselves if a project is worth their time. But I definitely don't expect that from people like you.

It's very likely that you're just a miserable failure yourself, and you're projecting all that onto me when you don't even know me.

Thank God I'm smart enough to have figured out the logistics on my own over the last few days, so I don't need crappy advice from bitter, frustrated losers. THIS THREAD CAN OFFICIALLY BE CLOSED, since all anyone can do here is get under my skin—especially since there are clearly plenty of hateful, desperate people looking to take their frustrations out on me.

😲😲😲

Oh my god... The amount of frustration packed into such a small space! I actually got chills reading this, I'm not even kidding. This is absolute chaos!!!

Exactly... just imagine how much worse it'll be once they turn it into a movie.🙂
