What's the best way to dye this?

I just sketched something out on my wall... now, should I go ahead and paint it?
The wall is yellow, so I'm not sure if water-based paints will actually work here🙄

My sister was experimenting with some coloring pigments—the kind you’d typically find mixed into house paint or plaster...

^^I don't think so... maybe tempera if you really had to. But honestly? You’re better off sticking to actual wall paint—specifically because it's actually designed for walls. I mean, who would have thought 🙂

I'm using acrylics.

The theme is military camo—three colors: brown, green, and gray ☕ and it actually turned out pretty decent.

^^Look, I’m no expert when it comes to painting walls 'n' stuff, but are we absolutely certain the color won't drift from the original shade after a while? You think so, 😬?
Personally, I can't see myself putting in all that effort just to end up with a mismatch. I wouldn't want to gamble on cheap tempera or water-based paints, honestly. :S

EDIT: Oh, and go ahead and post a photo so we can actually see what we're dealing with here. 😁

Sister, ruler, pencil... I used black ink to outline the edges 😁

It's all sorted out now... I don't think there should be any issues...

My aunt had waterline work done a few years back and says everything is still holding up perfectly... just something to keep in mind for the future 😁
