Anyone else dealt with this symptom? Curious how you got diagnosed, what the treatment looks like, and how long it takes to clear up. Is it something that eventually just goes away on its own? Thanks.

I honestly don't think it's a symptom of anything serious, but you might want to try identifying which specific foods trigger that heartburn. Maybe grab some Tums or just mix some baking soda with water.

It’s constant, regardless of what I eat. Honestly, sometimes it feels even worse immediately after a meal. My doctor thinks it's just acid reflux. That burning sensation in my throat...

I mean, I don't know. If they told you it feels like acid in your throat, they should probably be smart enough to tell you how to fix it. Honestly, I haven't the slightest clue. You really need someone speaking from actual experience here. I have no idea how "acid in the throat" even works—personally, I’d assume it’s coming up from the stomach and needs medical attention, but hey, I won't play doctor.🙂
