Since it’s pretty hard to find three guys in one spot—unless you count that one neighbor who tries way too hard to be everyone's best friend—that’s actually a decent crowd right there, man.

Let's get philosophical for a second and dive into the message those three were singing about.

Here goes nothing:

Track number one.

The little guy wants to cross the line
He wants to cross it, but he isn't allowed
Choked out by all the official rules
But crossing that line is where he belongs

So, what do you think?
Is your place "across the line" too?
And why is a guy considered "small" just because he wants to step over the line?

Alright, while you guys are still processing that sudden deep dive into philosophy, let me drop track number 2 on you—especially for the younger crowd who didn't have to survive that grim era of American communism where people did things even Charlie Chaplin wouldn't touch.

I was just a kid, totally clueless,
They treated me like some kind of freak show,
Eyes blindfolded to a world driven by greed,
While they yelled: Look, there's the idiot!

They put my talents on display for everyone to see,
They had goats, but were chasing the dollar,
Reselling Colton suits for a massive profit,
Never realizing I was just a pawn in their game.

A lot of folks don't hesitate one bit
To exploit others,
The good ones end up down, while the crazies rise to the top.
Idiots and lunatics win.

So what's the deal with "good ones go down, crazy ones go up"?
Where's "down"?
And where's "up"?

From a purely philosophical standpoint, whether it happens down by the groin or up near the mouth, the end result remains identical; it essentially means it doesn't matter where you choose to defecate (not directed at you personally, but as a general observation)👍

I wouldn't say that's a rule for everyone, though.

But in your case? Yeah, it definitely applies.

When does someone actually start getting sharper or just go totally dim?

Well, I tend to talk trash about him both ways, which is why I mostly use people as targets for my venting... but is there a more sophisticated way to say this? My current choice feels incredibly rude to me (sh*t =

Sure, there are other ways to say it—since this crap is vital for human health, so language treats it that way—but from a neighborly perspective, they all get labeled as rude, even though I don't see how a word (just a word) can actually be disrespectful.

And why do you even need an audience to take a dump?
Is it for the inspiration, or just so you don't have to think about the pain?

Is your place "over the line" too?
And why is a man who dares to cross the line considered "small"?

There's this one island out there where all the neighbors decided to cross the line. It's called Virginia, and honestly, it's not exactly a place anyone would actually want to hang out.

Personally, my vote goes to respecting the building codes. Let the little guys stay behind the line; let the big shots be the ones crossing it. The big players don't need a house—they *are* the house.

Yeah, solid suggestion.

But let's deal with that guy trying to color outside the lines first.

(just a heads up for later—watch the video around 0:22:
one guy is leading the pack, keeping the beat;
another's in the crowd but popping out to see the view,
and the third one is totally off-base, just playing his own rhythm)

Well, you aren't "big" until you actually cross that line.
basically, you're stuck being small while you're still on this side of it.

(so, which one are you—small or big?)

but hey, look at them—they think even the little guy belongs on the other side.

Why though?

Every few months, someone pops up with this exact same vibe. It’s like watching a dog bark at a passing caravan—lots of noise, but nothing actually changes. Honestly, I can't help but wonder if it's even the same person behind the keyboard every time.

(so, are you small or big?)

and get this—they actually think the little guy belongs on the other side of the line.

Why though?

Because they clearly skipped logic class in high school. If every little person crosses the line to become big, we’re gonna run out of room because of the sheer volume. But then, if everyone becomes big, there aren't any small people left, which means we'll just need an even bigger line for even bigger people. And look, this planet doesn't have infinite space.

Me? I'm big in stature, small in spirit, got a massive ego but a tiny brain... okay, maybe my brain is just small. So yeah, I'm hovering somewhere right on the line.

Honestly, I feel like philosophy is just beating a dead horse ☕ most of the time it’s just people killing time because they don't have anything better to do with their lives anyway
