My dermatologist sent me over to plastic surgery because of this tiny hemangioma on my scalp. I guess I'm wondering if getting it surgically cut out is actually the move, or if laser treatment might be a better bet?

My little girl has a hemangioma on the back of her neck, and we’re actually getting ready for surgery right now...
We’re currently in the middle of scheduling everything with the anesthesiologist.
Personally, I think it's best to just get it removed regardless of where it is, since these things can "reappear" and cause trouble. Even though they're benign in over 90% of cases, you just don't mess around with this stuff. Plus, if there's any risk of injury, I don't want to see the consequences. Honestly, I'm so nervous I'm afraid to even tie her bib too tight for fear of hurting it. My daughter is 6 months old.
