How do I get to Kiki without a car?

Sorry if this sounds a bit silly, but could someone please walk me through how to get out to Queens without a car? I’m totally unfamiliar with that part of town and was wondering if it's even doable via public transit. I really need to pick up something specific at Kiki that I can't find anywhere else, so if anyone could let me know 🙏

I know of two ways...

Either you hop on the 17 bus all the way to the end, past Precki, then walk a bit further—heading toward that big Walmart first and then onward... honestly, it’s way too much walking. 🙄
Or you head down to the Mississippi River to catch the 116 bus toward Brooklyn, then get off somewhere near Downtown, or maybe a stop further out? I can't be certain, but you'll still have to walk...
I think there might be a bus from the Bronx that goes toward Brooklyn too, but I'm not positive.

Anyway, those are the only ways I know to get there... maybe someone else knows a better route? 🤷

There’s a bus—the 116—that runs right along the Mississippi River, and it stops right in front of Kiki 🥳

It’s not even that it's too much walking; you'll probably have your legs give out before you even get close.

👍That bus works, but not by the CCO; there's actually a stop right in front of Kiki... it's not a long walk at all, which I think makes it the best option. The only downside is that the bus only comes every half hour. If you miss one, you're stuck. 😢

There is, but none of them pass by Kiki. 😬

It’s true... it isn't even that bad when you're just heading Downtown like I usually do. 😬

Hey, look, I wasn't totally sure before, but now I know... the furthest I've ever gone without a car was just to Walmart or Downtown. 🙂
