It’s been about 15 days now without any noticeable progress whatsoever...
If anyone here has dealt with a similar setback and could recommend some form of therapy beyond just resting, I would truly appreciate it.

If anyone out there has dealt with something similar and can suggest some kind of actual therapy instead of just sitting around waiting for it to heal, I’d really appreciate the help.

They just put me on Advil and everything cleared up within a week.

After a full week, I'm still in just as much pain as I was on day one.🤷
I suppose I should probably cut all activity down to an absolute minimum and just see how things progress.

I guess you really have to cut all activity down to an absolute crawl to see if anything actually changes.

Whether I liked it or not, I barely moved at all—even breathing felt too painful. I was gasping for air like a fish out of water. I couldn't sit up straight, and I couldn't even eat because my stomach was constantly turning.

That was certainly the case for the first few days, but the inflammation has subsided slightly. Now, the issue is just that my body won't allow me to be active at all...
I’m not someone who enjoys being idle, and I don't see a way to speed this process up. There aren't any creams or pills that can accelerate the recovery...
Honestly, I’d swallow a bottle of Advil right now if I knew for certain it would help.🙂
