Can someone help me out here?... I've got this massive presentation with like 100 slides and I'm trying to get it into Word so I can print 6 slides per page... Any idea how to pull that off?

Thanks a bunch!

You don't even need to bother exporting everything to Word,
just head over to the print preview in PowerPoint
and then you'll see the "Print what" option
where you can just pick exactly how many slides you want per page...

So, I could really use a little bit of help here 🙂
I’m trying to set up my slides so they just loop continuously—you know, where they advance automatically, and once you hit that very last slide, instead of everything just coming to a grinding halt, it jumps right back to the beginning... basically, I want the whole presentation to run on a constant loop. Does anyone know the trick to making that happen?

Thanks so much in advance!!!! 👍

I want my slides to cycle through on their own. Once it hits the last one, I don't want it to just stop—I want it to jump right back to the first slide. Basically, just an endless loop. Any idea how to set that up?

Thanks in advance!!!! 👍

Just go to Slide Show > Set Up Show and check the box for "Loop continuously until 'Esc'" under the Show options.

Then, head over to Slide Show > Slide Transition, select "Automatically after," and hit "Apply to All."

👍

I’ve never touched PowerPoint in my life, and now I’m staring down a deadline for my senior thesis presentation in a few days...
Seriously, someone help me out here...

Just looking for a starting point. How do I get slides in there? Do I scan them or just copy and paste?

I need some assistance here. I want to set up a function where pressing a key displays a specific line of text or a caption, then pressing it again shows another, and finally, a final press reveals two images. Please let me know how to handle this quickly; I have a presentation due this Monday.

Any help out there, folks? Help me out here...

Just to get the ball rolling—how do I get my pages in there? Do I scan them first, or just copy and paste?

You'll want to scan your images, diagrams, and whatever else you need—then you basically have two ways to pull them in:

1. Just treat it like an image: Insert > Picture > From File
2. Or right-click the slide > Background Options > then go to the last tab in that little window where you select the picture and hit apply.

As for the text—don't overdo it. Pick out the key terms, the main points, the stuff you really need to emphasize—kind of like how you'd make study notes. The whole point of a slide deck is to visually support what you're saying, not replace it. Once you have those highlights, just copy and paste them straight from Word or wherever you wrote your thesis.

I want to set it up so that when I hit a key, one bit of text—or a specific bullet point—shows up, then another one on the next click, and finally, two images pop up at once? Please, if anyone knows how to do this, let me know ASAP because I have to finish this presentation by Monday.

Those are called animations—just "animations"—and here is a picture for reference, along with a quick breakdown:
0. Highlight the word or text box
1. Click on the "Animations" tab
2. Go through the animation menu and pick an effect—basically, how you want that text to fly in.
3. Select "On Mouse Click"—that’s what makes it wait for your command rather than just happening automatically.
4. Adjust the speed so the animation doesn't fly in too fast or drag on too long.

There you go.
