So, look, I’m not entirely sure if this is the right spot for this kind of talk, so if I’ve totally missed the mark, please just move it for me. I actually started a whole thread over in the Religion section titled "The Quran and the Bible through a Scientific Lens," because I really wanted to dive into how some of the stuff in those holy books either lines up or clashes with modern science. But, man, halfway through typing away, I suddenly see my topic got shut down with a moderator note saying, "The pulpit isn't for preaching."
Seriously though, can we please just get this going? I put a ton of work into writing that, and honestly, I wasn't trying to preach to anyone—that’s just pointless. I get it, nobody on this forum is going to ditch their religion just because I drop a bunch of evidence, so there's no need for that. I’m just asking to have my thread unlocked so I can finish what I started, because things were about to get pretty intense, but it feels like someone here is trying to keep things quiet... Cheers!
