To me, *The Body* is awesome because those catchy melodies actually lift me up when everything feels heavy and oppressive. The lyrics are pretty basic, almost elementary school level, but I love them because they're just fun. I don't know. Comment if you want. Don't if you don't. It's not like I'm going to start a crusade over The Black Keys.

It's a full-on conceptual album, period. Is it just me, or is it incredible that The Black Keys put together a conceptual punk-rock/indie record about an individual living in some fascist, theocratic state, all while using such infectious melodies? 👋

Look, I was one of the first guys here trashing the new album... but honestly? I’ve been blasting it non-stop the last few days and it gets better every single time. At first, I hated it—it felt too slow, too polished, not nearly as raw as their old stuff—but man, once those melodies actually sink in, they're killer 🙏. It’s gonna sound even more insane live... I’m calling it now, this is easily going in my top ten of all time 😍

There will probably be some tickets left at the entrance, but I can't say for sure. You can grab them at the Dirty Old Shop today until 8 PM, and they'll have them there tomorrow until about 6 PM—assuming they don't sell out early. Also, I'll be over at the IEEE starting around 3 PM tomorrow, so you'll be able to buy them there from then on. There you go!
