It was hot, but it was awesome

It was awesome—easily the best Thermals we've seen at KSET in a long time 🙏

I didn't end up grabbing anything though 🙂 they didn't have the specific board I was hunting for 😢

They only had one, and that thing was sold off before the KRA

I thought about maybe pushing the issue with the new owner—just to see what would happen—but I decided against it; the pacifist in me wouldn't let me go there.

It was good—well, at times it was actually great, honestly 100%—it’s just that the road itself... I mean, we really ought to rename it to "The Highway to Hell for Absolute Idiots."

The energy was awesome—the crowd was absolutely electric 🙂 🙂, and the band held their own.
The confetti felt a little staged, I guess, but hey, Our trip 😍
they didn't play all the other songs from Fuckin A, but they did squeeze in quite a few toward the end, so I can't complain too much.

Man, my head is pounding like I caught some nasty seasonal flu 😕

Hače, Hače, why'd you go quiet on the guitar, man?

I mean, the new stuff isn't half bad; it’s got a bit of that Acid House vibe, some college rock, and maybe a touch of Kat 🙂

Good show, though. I wasn't expecting them to recreate that total disaster from three years ago anyway. Just a solid, low-key, honest band.

Someone behind the mixing desk clearly lost their hearing during the great war for honesty. But once Sappy started playing, I honestly couldn't bring myself to care. 😍

It was absolute chaos right before we made it through the entrance!

The nerds are happy, I suppose.

Alright, look, I’m glad the geeks managed to gather outside the gates to debate star charts and throw around some Klingon slang... clearly you had a blast, and honestly, even for those of us already inside, things weren't half bad either...😁

I made a massive mistake by stepping out halfway through the set just to catch my breath. Once I tried crawling back inside during the No Culture Icons set, I was basically drenched in sweat and realized my body just wasn't going to adjust to that sauna-like heat anymore... So yeah, I spent the rest of the show outside. The first half wasn't bad, but honestly, I would’ve preferred seeing them in a less cramped venue—or maybe somewhere outdoors if the weather stays this brutal...

I sat through the first three sets and honestly, it was just slow, boring, and felt like a waste of time. I stepped out for some air, then headed back to the bar just as they started playing Pillar of Salt (is that the one with the solo?)—after that, things actually picked up, so I stayed until the end... Since I originally went just to hang out with people, I was surprised to find the music actually decent enough to stick around for—but don't expect me to show up if they ever tour back here...

The whole sauna situation is a complete joke.
And don't even get me started on the social safari they've got going on.
God, Kset is absolutely screwing us over.

Are they just not turning off the lights at concerts anymore? 😬

there's a video on YouTube showing Now WE Can see from last night—it was pretty dark so you can't really see much 😁but honestly, the audio quality is actually great

as for the shirt, I managed to wring out like half a liter of liquid after the show
...between the beer and the sweat

So, why on earth did someone go and crush his guitar? Was that actually intentional? Did they just run out of power at the concert? Or was there maybe some kind of massive press frenzy going on? 🤷
