USB port not working - any fixes?

Hello everyone,

I have a 4GB Transcend JF V30 USB drive that I used to install an OS. It boots fine, and once the installation is complete, my PC recognizes the drive and even installs the necessary drivers. However, I can't actually use it; whenever I try to perform any action, I get an error stating, "There is no media in the device."
I've already tested it on another computer, and the result is identical.
To make matters worse, the capacity is reporting as 0B.

Has the drive simply failed, or is there some way to fix this?
