Best GPU for Intel Core i5?

Is it actually solid enough for Battlefield 4 multiplayer at full HD with everything cranked up to high settings? Of course not. And that’s exactly my point—what works perfectly fine for some people just isn't going to cut it for others... myself included.

Good grief, do you even know how to read a quote? You could probably run it on some low-to-medium settings where the game still looks decent. I'm looking at the other side of the coin here: if you don't care about having games like Battlefield 4 fly on high settings—which are the most demanding scenarios—then there's no reason to upgrade your GPU. If that matters to you and you really want it, then go for it. Like I said before, it seems like you're having some trouble with perception and actually understanding what I'm saying. Given how budget-conscious and tight everything is right now, just pick up any GPU that meets your basic needs, regardless of what CPU you're running...

I'm currently running an Intel Core i5 on an ASRock 970 Extreme3 motherboard, paired with a Radeon R7750 graphics card.
I haven't really dove into any super demanding titles lately—so I can't say for sure—but I have been thinking about giving Battlefield 4 a shot.
Since we're already on the subject... do you think it would actually run smoothly for me? I don't need to be cranking everything up to max settings or anything.

Try setting your graphics settings to LOW and grab an FPS counter—something like FRAPS—to see what kind of frame rates you're actually getting. If things start dipping below 30 FPS, you might want to try lowering the in-game resolution too.

Are you looking for a GPU recommendation or something else? My advice remains the same as what I gave regarding the AMD Radeon R7 265 for anything over $333
