Which PSU should I buy?

I guess I just started this whole thing too late. I know a few guys who use that power supply, but it’s easily $80 or $90 more expensive than what I’m looking at.

You can find the EVGA SuperNOVA 650 at $180... Honestly, it’s such a fantastic power supply unit...

So, what’s your take on using a Corsair RM800 in a high-end build?

Look, I've done my homework on this one, and let me tell you, Seasonic is the gold standard here... honestly, even the Corsair RM800 doesn't quite step up to its level when you really start looking at the details...

I haven't heard anything about those power supplies, whether they're good or bad.
I did a little digging online, but I couldn't find any reviews anywhere. Has anyone else had a different experience?

😁 Honestly, he really just needs that little adapter that comes right in the box with the card itself, so there's no real reason to go out and hunt down a more powerful power supply unit at all...

Well, if that power supply is supposedly among the best for its wattage, then why argue? If it can handle the GPU, I suppose there's no reason not to...
Besides, that card's price will likely crater in a month anyway. It’s overpriced right now—as is every shiny new product hitting the market—so maybe it won't feel quite so foolish once the price settles down. 😉 😁😍

The power supply is putting out about 480W, while the graphics card is pulling roughly ~130W... it’s really just a very straightforward bit of math if you think about it... 🙂

If I might ask—how long can that power supply actually sustain that kind of load continuously? Those benchmark tests usually only last a few minutes, don't they?
