For that kind of money? You might be able to scrounge up a used EVGA 400W if you look hard enough, but finding something brand new? No way.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/chieftec-case-listing-example Is this actually worth picking up, or am I just throwing money away?

The power supply itself is decent enough—though I guess it all really comes down to how much wear and tear it’s already seen...

What do you think about these two?

So, what's the deal with this RED WING 420W power supply?

Xilence RW power supplies are decent enough, but honestly, it all comes down to what kind of price tag you're looking at.

$67... which feels pretty steep to me, especially since Best Buy has them listed at $260 with a full warranty...

Check if these power supplies actually come with a 6-pin connector for the graphics card. Mine didn't have one, but you can easily just pick up one of those Molex-to-6-pin adapters online.

I've got one of those Fortron 400W units too 😁

Honestly, I’m pretty happy with how it performs 😍

Man, my mom had one about 5 or 6 years ago. I think I paid around $40 or so for mine brand new at a Best Buy or something similar. It worked like an absolute charm right up until the end of last year (it’s actually still running in my buddy's PC), before he swapped it out for a TX650. That new one has only broken down once since then, but luckily it was covered under warranty and they replaced it.

General Motors isn't the mess it used to be—you know, back when they dealt with terrible suppliers? They've really turned things around over the last couple of years.

They aren't "better," they're actually worse. There's no way they've improved.☕

I'm running a 460W power supply, specifically the Cooler Master Silent Giant Green Power LC6460GP3 V2.3,
It works quite well; it's nearly silent and was fairly reasonably priced, I suppose.

It works great, barely makes a sound, and it was cheap enough.

but it doesn't cost 150-$67 😁 it costs almost double.😲

In New York City, they're doing alright 😁 Not quite what they used to be, at least from what I can tell... I mean, their stuff is pretty decent for the most part.
