Where are the best places for rehab?

It’s been about five months since my sister suffered a severe brain injury—thankfully, her surgery went well and the initial prognosis looked bright, but she still hasn't woken up...
She’s currently in what they call a persistent vegetative state—which basically means we're within that one-year window after the trauma where recovery is still a real possibility—and while she looks at us and moves around, she just isn't aware of herself or anything else happening around her.
Since she’s still on a ventilator because of breathing issues, getting her into rehab—like a specialized facility in Palm Springs—just isn't an option right now, and honestly, there isn't a facility here in the US that specializes in taking in patients in this specific condition yet..
We're feeling pretty desperate because it feels like the ICU team has done everything they can, but staying in the Intensive Care Unit for too long just opens the door to new infections—we're dealing with a constant Pseudomonas bacteria issue—and it just seems to slow down any chance of her recovering.
My girl is only 19, a law student over in Seattle, and she was always such a happy, smiling person...

I just can't stand watching us spin our wheels and stay stuck in this loop, so I'm reaching out—does anyone know, or have you heard, if there's a specific type of facility anywhere in Europe that accepts patients like this????

I am so incredibly sorry to hear that... unfortunately, I don't have the answer you're looking for, but I would definitely suggest checking with a doctor; they should be able to give you some clarity.
