They claim this compound can actually buff out scratches on a car or other surfaces 😲(though I remain highly skeptical), so if anyone has any evidence to prove me wrong, please feel free to post it πŸ™

You can't just buff out scratches because they’re basically built into the damn thingβ€”it's like trying to fix a void where matter should be.
So, I guess there's gotta be some way to actually fill those gaps in.

Does any of this stuff even work? How does it even function? Honestly, I have no clue. 😬

It basically just fills in or masks the colorβ€”it doesn't mean the scratch won't look faded once you're done. It only works on the tiniest surface scuffs, stuff that isn't wider or deeper than maybe a tenth of a millimeter. For instance, I scraped my car against some bushes and left those light little streaks, which this actually fixed, but you can totally forget about using this on deep gouges from a key or anything wider than that. It kind of cleans up the metal, I guess, and brings back a bit of shine.
