We all know exactly which idiot came up with Daylight Saving Time, but what really worries me is when someone actually smart will step up in this modern era—since there’s absolutely no reason for it anymore—to bring back actual sunshine.

Since this morning, even my internal clock is completely out of sync. It feels like high noon isn't hitting until 1 PM!😠

Think about the tourists; they’re forced to roll out of bed an hour earlier just to grab breakfast. They get rushed off the beach an hour early for dinner. They get kicked off their patio tables by some staff member shouting, "It's midnight, time for bed!" when, according to the sun, it's barely 11 PM.

I was watching a news segment yesterday about a farmer who had to spend an entire week adjusting his cows' schedules just to deal with this "new time."

I managed to scramble through my own twelve-hour adjustment period, but I honestly worry about how we'll sync up all those old town square clocks in our historic downtown areas.

And most of all, I'm concerned about how our early risers are going to handle heading into work an hour earlier tomorrow.😕🤷☕
How are they even going to feel?

I know I’m definitely not going to be able to get any sleep tonight, and honestly? I’ll probably wake up tomorrow feeling like I got hit by a freight train. And the worst part is, I'll feel like this for weeks. I just absolutely hate this whole cycle... everything feels completely out of whack right now.😠

Last year's thread by this same user was actually much better—honestly, I preferred it. 😁

We need to keep looping back to this, one way or another, over and over, until high noon—until 12:00 PM hits right when the sunshine is at its peak!🙂

It honestly feels like the whole world is moving forward while Reddit just sits there, refusing to show the actual local time unless you're logged in for, what, six months straight?🙏🙂
I mean, they’re still tripping up by claiming we’re on GMT+2, but hey, I guess you can't expect perfection from everyone, right?

Some people are out there claiming it’s all about saving energy or some other nonsense, but... let's be real, those are just fairy tales for kids.

Man, you certainly don't give up easily☕

Personally, I just love this time of year when the days stay so incredibly long😍

But you're ignoring the fact that since last year, Jack has finally figured out who actually invented and implemented Daylight Saving Time. 😁

Look, some people are just stubborn like that.☕

I personally love this time of year—having these long, drawn-out days is the best part.😍

Oh, please! So you're telling me you actually enjoy waking up an hour earlier, heading into work an hour sooner, going to bed an hour earlier, and then repeating that whole cycle tomorrow? Just ask anyone else working hard out there, especially those folks in the hospitality or service industry, if they're really thrilled about it.😁

The day is longer, sure. And I love that too. But that has absolutely nothing to do with messing with the clocks. Think about it: how many millions of individual clocks do you have to manually reset those damn hands on? 🙂

just so you know; communism collapsed here in America about eighteen years ago.

Thanks to whoever decided to merge my posts from this year with my posts from last year.🙏

This is a serious topic. And if someone isn't taking it seriously—well, they’re just being unserious.😉

A question for AJ: You haven't been around here lately, and I haven't seen you on VZ5. Are you feeling under the weather? Or maybe you just didn't like my response?😍

Here we go again!
I was reading somewhere that the European Union is actually proposing to scrap this whole stupid, pointless ritual.👎

Just yesterday, I had to manually wind my clocks forward by fourteen damn hours. On top of that, you’ve got two devices that adjust themselves via radio signals, then there's my computer, which is smart enough to handle the change on its own, and finally my car radio, which always keeps the real time: when the sun hits high noon exactly in the south.👍

Anonymous said:One valid argument against it is the stress factor—not to mention for the pets. 😲 If I didn't burst out laughing, 🤣🤣

Go ahead and laugh; my rooster didn't crow this morning, and I suspect the hens are feeling a bit moody because of it.
There's plenty more where that came from.

Now we have wind and rain following such a beautiful day, and it's as if the clocks haven't even moved...

Anyway, friends, let me remind you what I wrote about this a while back: 🤣
When is this whole "spring forward, fall back" mess finally going to end? I don't know. But I think we're well past the point of needing it.🙄

My internal clock gets totally thrown off every single year, and it usually takes me a day or two to get back on track 😳

I’m definitely not a fan of these kinds of shifts myself 👋 😁

It’s an interesting topic, though! 😍 🙂

I honestly don't mind the time change at all. I love having those long summer days, and being able to sleep in a little more during the winter is a total win.

The sudden cold snap and this fog have me completely caught off guard.😢

Oh, Lisa Hernandez95, where did you find this photo? A buddy of mine just sent it over from New York City. I’m thinking it might be from one of those Smile ads. Honestly, though, that isn't me in the picture. I'm much better looking than that.😉

Don't smoke. Shame on you!

Here’s a fresh dilemma for an old debate.
Fellow Members of Congress, the ball is in your court.
Please, someone just fix this daylight saving nonsense once and for all.

We all know exactly which genius came up with the whole "daylight saving time" concept, but what really worries me is when—in this modern age where there’s absolutely zero need for it—someone actually "smart" decides to bring back "sunny weather" adjustments.

Since this morning, even my sundial isn't behaving. According to the sun, noon doesn't hit until 1 PM!

Tourists end up having to wake up an hour earlier just to grab breakfast. They get pushed off the beach an hour early for dinner. They get ushered off their patio tables an hour too soon by some staff shouting, "It's midnight, time for bed!" when, according to the sun, it's barely 11 PM.

I was watching a documentary on TV yesterday about a farmer who had to spend an entire week recalibrating his cows' schedules to match this "new time."

I managed to adjust my own twelve clocks, but I’m genuinely concerned about how we’re going to sync up all the sundials in our historic town squares.

And most of all, I worry about our early risers tomorrow. How are they supposed to head to work an hour earlier?

How is everyone going to feel?
