Combichrist Live at Aquarius, Washington, D.C. - March 27, 2009

A few days ago, we officially signed the deal with the band's management, following an earlier agreement with the venue at the Fillmore.

Since the concert is still a ways off—about four months out—you can expect plenty of announcements, updates, and exclusive teasers coming your way very soon. We are working flat out on the logistics, and if everything goes according to plan (which I assume it will), this is going to be an absolute BANGER of a show.

I caught CCH live this past summer, and they are top-tier showmen; I’d even go as far as to compare them to a massive act like Prodigy.

Interestingly enough, the current lineup includes model Kourtney Klein. We should also have one or maybe two support acts confirmed shortly.

It might be a bit premature to say anything definitive just yet... though I suspect we'll see some kind of greatest hits collection eventually...

...well, that’s because I’d argue Aquarius is basically the "home base" for electronic music in Washington, D.C.... there are plenty of other reasons too, but they aren't exactly public knowledge right now, haha...

This isn't just going to be a concert, it’s going to be an absolute legendary event 🙂 I honestly can't wait!!! I know I'll end up losing my voice, gaining some weight from all the food, and who knows what else 😬 We're All Electric 🙂

If everything goes according to plan, I honestly think this event might just be the concert of the year... I caught them live this summer in New York City and it was an absolute standout show... Honestly, even The Prodigy could hold their own against a performance like that...

I can't help but think... Andy is absolutely wild, the music is incredibly high-octane, and the atmosphere is going to be totally devastating 🙂

Does anyone have a ballpark figure on the price? I'm looking for some kind of rough estimate of what we might be looking at here

It hasn't been officially set yet, but considering the lineup, the ticket price will probably be a total steal... maybe around 100-$40...

Presales should kick off on February 1st...

By the way, I noticed banners starting to pop up on CNN and Reddit regarding the concert...

Look, I’m all for a good mosh pit—especially at a show like Combichrist Aesthetic Perfection—but honestly, I prefer not having to spend the entire night on high alert, just praying nobody elbows me in the face or that I don't accidentally catch a stray arm to the skull. As for worrying about tickets selling out? Not really. My plan is pretty simple: I’ll grab mine the very second pre-sales go live. 🙂

Aquarius is a large enough venue that they can easily adjust the capacity depending on where the stage is set up... so there's no need to worry... 🙂
