Why does my hair always look best the day before my barber appointment?

It’s worth having for everyone, sure. But honestly? It’s not quite as life-or-death as it is for hair stylists. Okay, fine—maybe even for the surgeons operating on me! 🤣

So, what else do you guys consider absolutely vital in your lives? Has anything else major happened to you lately, besides that whole wild saga with the overly confident hair stylist? Don't hold back—spill it!

I don't know.. I never really deal with that...😁
I usually wait until things are actually reaching a breaking point before heading to the salon-->like when my hair is just a mess without any shape, the color looks faded, the roots are showing, and the ends are totally fried..😬 It’s pretty much impossible for me to suddenly start liking how it looks at that stage.. I'm usually just sitting there, counting down the minutes until I'm in the chair and my stylist can finally get to work..😍

This is probably the first topic I can actually weigh in on with some real experience 😁

So, here's the deal

I've had really long hair twice before—kind of like Jesus style.

The first time, I went from super long straight down to a buzz cut—that was a few years back.

The second time, I went from long to medium length—think Ashton Kutcher or something similar 😁—and then just a few days ago, I went from that medium length to a short cut. 😁

Having long or medium hair was pretty cool—though they feel kind of the same in terms of heat and stuff—but I think I got my fill of it over the last six years.

Right now, it's all cropped short. It's fine, I guess, though I still need to get used to it—it’s a pretty huge life change for a guy with hair. 😁

It’s way more practical, too... I don't think I'll grow it out again, maybe just keep it around two inches if I want to look a little alternative or whatever. 😁

Honestly? I have no clue, but I feel super primal 😬 rocking short hair and a beard—it’s like that whole "attractively rugged" look 😬

Once my hair grows out, though, my head looks like a giant watermelon and I just give off this total neglected kid energy 😬

😬 My best friend totally screwed me over with those contact lenses. Dude’s got blue eyes and a massive prescription, so without them, his eyes look pretty mid—kind of small and nothing special. But once he puts them in? Man, wow. We used to hang out all through high school, and now I’m rocking contacts while his eyes look wide open and striking. Like, what the hell? Four years of friendship just to realize he’s out here looking better than me. Seriously, screw him! 😬

But man, those glasses are such a hit with guys who aren't typical nerds. It creates this killer vibe where you get that raw masculinity mixed with this soft, sensitive boy energy—like someone who read way too many books and Winnie the Pooh. Most women find that combo absolutely irresistible 😬
