Best jet skis for summer?

Lately, I’ve found myself becoming quite obsessed with jet skis, though specifically the stand-up models rather than the seated ones. I gave the seated versions a fair shot, but they just never quite clicked for me; it felt like trying to wear shoes that were two sizes too small, if you know what I mean. After spending some time riding the stand-up variety, I think I finally have a sense of how they handle, and I’ve reached the point where I’m seriously considering buying one for myself. Of course, walking into a dealership and seeing a brand-new model priced at nearly $9,000 is enough to make anyone pause, as that’s certainly not a casual expense for my current budget. It’s a strange phenomenon, really, because while there are endless seated models available for every possible price point, the stand-up ones seem to vanish into thin air whenever you go looking for them.
