Exactly! That is precisely what I was thinking. 😬

Meanwhile, the parents back in the Everglades are mourning their only son; Mom Alligator blames Dad Alligator, and they end up filing for divorce. Irreconcilable differences. Or something to that effect. 😛

This kind of thing really takes me back to that one old-school horror flick from '84... you know, Razorback.
It had such a killer premise, just "A wild, vicious pig terrorizes the American Southwest."
I mean, I’m a sucker for those kinds of movies—you know, the ones where animals just go absolutely rogue and start hunting people... stuff like Jaws, Piranha, The Pack, Barracuda, Birds, Tremors, Anaconda, or Alligator... so yeah, I'll definitely be adding Rogue to my watchlist.

It’s a fantastic movie—the only thing that would have made it even better is having Paul Hogan in it.🙏

It was pretty intense—"A wild, vicious pig terrorizes the American Southwest".
I don't miss much when it comes to this stuff (animal horror flicks where creatures go on a rampage, like Jaws, Piranha, The Pack, Barracuda, Birds, Tremors, Anaconda, Alligator...) so I'm definitely checking out Rogue.

Good grief
😲
that movie poster looks absolutely terrifying

which usually means it's actually good or at least fun to watch
🙂
plus, I feel like I saw this one an eternity ago..
🤔

just how many man-eating beasts are roaming around the US?!!!
😲

I was actually planning on heading back to the theater to catch "Horror from the rivers" again—just one more time, you know?—but then I see the paper and realize it’s already off the schedule.
Honestly, where is the world heading? It feels like fewer and fewer people are willing to just sit down in a cinema and enjoy a genuinely great movie, especially one featuring a massive Alligator.
It’s a bit depressing, really—because out of everything I’ve watched lately, and that includes seeing "Dark Knight" on the big screen and watching "To want blood" on Blu-ray, "Horror from the rivers" is easily my favorite.

Where is the world heading when so few people bother to see an excellent film, especially one featuring a massive crocodile?
It is quite disheartening; out of all the films I have watched recently—ranging from seeing "Dark Knight" on the big screen to watching "to want blood" on Blu-ray—"horror from the rivers" remains the absolute best.

I haven't seen "X-Men," but good heavens... better than "to want blood"? To my mind, "to want blood" is nothing short of masterful. How could anything possibly top that?

Personally, I’d much rather sit through a decent flick about a giant monster eating people than deal with something in the same league as "to want blood"... 😁

Ah, fair enough then. I suppose it might have been more enjoyable if I were actually a fan of those kinds of movies. But I’m simply not. 😬

"horror from rivers" is definitely in my top 5 best movies I've seen all year so far.
😳

For me, "Cloverfield" takes the number one spot.
😳

In "Rogue," that scene where they see fire in the sky reminded me so much of "Cloverfield." It was genuinely terrifying.
😳
