Hmm... I'm really starting to hope they drop those headliners soon.
If they brought out someone like Kings of Leon, The Killers, The Chemical Brothers, or even Gogol Bordello... honestly, you wouldn't hear a single complaint from me. 😁

No, I haven't—admittedly, I've only seen them on TV. Not really my cup of tea... though, I guess they weren't either until I saw what they actually do live.

If we don't get Elvis Presley or Mick Jagger, the promoters totally failed us.
That guy from Las Vegas can't sing for shit. The music is absolute trash.
Whatever, the metal stage is what matters. Let's go Snoop Dogg!

LOL, oh sure, let's just recycle every single artist that has already toured the States over the last two or three years! 👋
Honestly, I don't care all that much about Mus or Placebo—it’s not like I have anything against them—but making a statement like that? Good grief... it's as if they're the only bands to have released a new album lately. There are so many younger, more interesting acts out there who HAVEN'T been to America yet.

I’d honestly show up for Water Music whenever they’re playing at any of the festivals... 🙂 maybe even Gaslight Anthem too. As for anything else, I just couldn't care less... 🙂

Ugh, coming from you 🙏 🙏 🙏 it wouldn't be fair if my girlfriend watched HWM at Southside while I'm stuck here 😢

That guy from the Killers can't actually sing, I guess. It’s just desperate music.
But honestly, the metal stage is what matters. Let's go, Slayerrr!!!
😱
Have you ever been to one of their shows?

I couldn't agree more. 👍👍👍

At the very least, their backstage party would have been a hell of a lot better than whatever mess Prodigy left behind two years ago.😉

Look, I don't care about Mus or Placebo. It’s not like they bother me, but saying something like that? Good grief... as if they're the only bands to drop a new album lately. There are tons of younger, more interesting bands out there. Bands that HAVEN'T played here.
And lesser-known ones.
I know about 200-250 bands like that, but I was talking about the T-Mobile music festival specifically regarding the headliners.
It’s obvious that being "FAMOUS" doesn't mean a band is better than an "UNKNOWN" one by default. There’s no criteria for that and I’m not getting into an argument about it.
Personally, for the metal stage, I'd rather have Fear Factory, Nevermore, Annihilator, Epicu, Enslaved, Falcenbach, or Testament over Metallica or Manowar.
But you can't really talk about tiny metal bands when the focus is on the main headliner. Who is usually a FAMOUS name, BTW.
If you get it, you get it. I'm done wasting my breath on pointless arguments.

If they actually booked No Doubt, Beastie Boys, Daft Punk, and The Ting Tings... man, that would be one hell of a party. Guaranteed.😁

The Hold Steady, Gaslight Anthem, Arcade Fire, The Killers
What are the actual odds we see any of them on stage?

Gaslight Anthem is dropping a new album right in the middle of June, so let’s factor that into the EQUATION.
