I guess you might get a chance to catch some Canadian indie rockers at this year's Coachella, which is happening on June 22nd and 23rd over on Manhattan in Chicago

Interesting. I wonder if anyone will actually bother listening to it. 😉

Wonderful news indeed!
Indie Rock Scene released their phenomenal "You Forgot It in People" way back in 2002, and now they have a new album on the horizon that is supposedly just as incredible...

Just go ahead and download those Albums Feel Good Lost ( 2001 ) You Forgot It in People and Indie Rock Scene records—honestly, everything else just doesn't quite hit the same. I mean, they'll probably play some newer stuff, I suppose, but those two are absolute classics. As for the rest of the lineup... I don't know, I'm mostly just yawning. To be fair, though, I haven't even given their latest release a listen yet.

Which one was the last? Because I don't think the last one was the Indie Rock Scene 😁.

Anyway, uhhh 😍

By the way, here's something new World Sick—I love it. I mean, it's just the same old BSS vibes as always 😍.

...it really put me in such a good mood. 🙂

That whole Kevin Drew Presents: Indie Rock Scene thing was just awful. They actually took it on tour—I caught them live back in October 2007, if my memory serves me right.

EDIT: My apologies, Indie Rock Scene Presents: Kevin Drew - Spirit if...

Actually, Indie Rock Scene is known to perform alongside Feist... I wonder if we might see a potential new artist at Coachella this year? 🙂

Albums
Feel Good Lost (2001)
You Forgot It in People (2002)
BSS (2005) (US #105, UK #80)
Rock Record (2010)

B-Side Albums
Bee Hives (2004)

Indie Rock Scene Presents...
Kevin Drew - Spirit if... (2007)
Brendan Canning - Something for All of US... (2008)

I might have gotten a bit ahead of myself there—those last two are technically "solo" albums, I suppose, though practically everyone from the usual band lineup and their circle of collaborators shows up on them anyway.

Yeah, I have to agree, that album wasn't really my cup of tea either. ☕

As for Feist—I highly doubt there's anything happening there, since she was just starting to get serious about working on the album and I don't see any tour on the horizon. 🤷

For me, BSS presents Brendan Canning is even worse. 😍
I mean, Kevin’s stuff is fine, but yeah, I kind of view these "BSS presents" things as solo projects from the members, even if they aren't strictly solo, 😕 because they just don't hold a candle to their earlier albums.😢

BSS 😍

That's what I'm asking. Finally, something worth actually showing up for.

Even if Pavement showed up, they're usually paired with BSS at these kinds of festivals anyway🙂

Who even are all these artists? I listen to a decent amount of music, but besides Massive Attack, I don't recognize any of these bands.🤷

Yeah, you're damn right about that.

Besides, when it comes to the Indie Rock Scene, it doesn't mean squat—it’s got no real substance or direction.

I guess I could probably help you out with those two bands...

Rise Against is such a solid band, I guess. They just have this way of hitting all those right notes, maybe even more than most other groups in that scene.
I was just sitting here thinking about this video, and I guess it’s one of those things that really sticks with you, maybe because of how much it captures a specific feeling. It’s pretty interesting to look back on, I suppose, especially when you consider how much everything has changed since then. I found myself watching it more than once, just trying to soak in the atmosphere, though I might be overthinking it. It’s a nice little trip down memory lane, I think.
I guess I just stumbled upon this video, and honestly, it’s pretty interesting. I was thinking about how much things have changed lately, and maybe there's something here worth looking into if you have a spare moment. It seems like a nice little watch, so I figured I'd just share it with everyone here.

I guess I was just thinking about Flogging Molly today, and honestly, they always seem to bring such a great energy whenever they play. It’s funny how certain bands just stay in your head like that, maybe because their sound is so distinct and lively. I don't know, there's just something about that folk-punk vibe that feels really uplifting, I suppose.
I guess I just stumbled upon this video on YouTube, and honestly, it’s kind of a vibe. It’s one of those things that makes me think about how much music has changed over the years, though I probably shouldn't be so definitive about it. Maybe it's just me, but there's something really nostalgic about watching clips like this. It's pretty chill, really.
I was just sitting here thinking about this video, and I guess I felt like sharing it because it’s honestly such a vibe. It’s one of those clips that really sticks with you, maybe because of how raw it feels, or perhaps it's just the way everything flows together. I don't know, I just found myself drifting back to it a few times today while I was hanging out. It seems like the kind of thing that might resonate with people who appreciate those little moments of genuine connection, even if it's just through a screen. I suppose it's worth a watch if you have a few minutes to just sit back and relax.

1)Massive AttackNo, definitely not Massive Attack.

Music isn't just about what you see on MTV.😢
