You know that game where you just keep slamming your finger against someone else's, over and over, until one of you finally cracks and gives up? I was wondering, besides just having a swollen finger, what kind of long-term damage are we actually looking at after playing that nonsense for a while

Honestly, this belongs under the heroism and valor thread. The fallout really just boils down to how much skin players have in the game. The higher the stakes, the faster people are gonna bail, and that’s when the sting hits even harder.🙂

You can catch gangrene, and if you don't get it treated immediately, it'll kill you. 😬

you could always find even more ridiculous ways to be silly... 😁

I suppose I’m wondering what the actual consequences might be, aside from a swollen finger, if someone were to play that for an extended period of time.

Your dick will shrink.😢

The question isn't foolish at all; I find myself wondering about the potential outcomes as well.

EDIT:ALTHOUGH I DON'T PERSONALLY ENGAGE IN THIS

Look, the fallout is the same whether you're doing this or just constantly hitting your thumb with a hammer. You're wrecking your veins and nerves, and honestly, who knows if you're even causing micro-fractures in the bone? It’s a mindless game. The human hand is this incredibly intricate, delicate machine that can pull off absolute miracles when the brain sends the right signals.
Engaging in that kind of masochism is basically bordering on idiocy for people like
you.

It’s almost hard to believe, but these guys are genuinely acting like complete idiots. It really is quite something.
