Our association will be hosting a booth over at Malla Avenue tomorrow and the day after, running from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM. We’ll be out there spreading the word about our knowledge against cancer project and gathering signatures for our petition.

If you happen to be in the area, please do swing by. It would mean a lot if you could support us 🙂

Angela Wright said:If you check out the website www.zanovidan.org, there’s a full list of hospitals that have oncology departments. Now, the real work starts when you actually sit down and start calling them one by one to see if their radiation equipment is even up to snuff.

Thank you so much—you honestly have no idea how much your info and advice mean to us.

My dad is fighting tongue cancer. Ten days ago, the doctors at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center basically gave up on him, labeling it terminal. He’s already been through the wringer with chemo, radiation, and then more chemo.

He’s down to about 130 pounds at 5'10", and the tumor has completely taken over his mouth—it’s actually protruding because he can't even close his lips anymore. Obviously, eating is a nightmare; everything has to be pureed into a liquid just so he can swallow it. I can't even wrap my head around the sheer agony he's going through right now.
Thankfully, he still has some mobility left. To manage the pain, he's relying on Analgin or Novalgetol, which are essentially the same thing just from different manufacturers.

Since the medical establishment has pretty much written him off, we decided to start him on Segidrin. Has anyone here actually used this stuff before?

He'll be on Segidrin for a seven-day course.

p.s.
A retired professor from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center was the one who actually suggested we try it.

My life feels like one continuous battle, but that’s just the reality I live in. Twice in ten years. First it was Hodgkin, and just recently, a soft tissue sarcoma. You eventually learn to make peace with it. There's no such thing as a break. The hardest part isn't my own pain, though; it's watching the people I love go through this with me.
Bravo, Angela Wright, and thank you for sharing those words!

I'm 33 years old. Nine years ago, I was diagnosed with malignant ovarian cancer. Now, five years later, there are metastases in my liver. I've come to terms with it. My godmother tells me it's like I just caught a common cold, rather than undergoing chemotherapy all over again. My dear friends, we just have to stay positive and everything will be okay.👍

Olivia Miller said:So, I’m 33 years old now. Nine years ago, I was hit with ovarian cancer—malignant, obviously. Fast forward five years later, and here we are: the cancer has metastasized to my liver. Honestly? I’ve made my peace with it. My close friend keeps acting like this is just some minor setback—like I just caught a common cold instead of having to go through chemo all over again. It’s ridiculous, really. But look, ladies, I truly believe you just have to stay positive, and everything will work out okay.👍

Oh, BRAVO to you "cure" people!!! Seriously!
That’s honestly the only way to really get through to someone—if you actually want to touch their soul...🙂

So, I finally got my PET scan scheduled for Tuesday—fingers crossed! 🙏 Buckle up and get your act together—it’s time to tighten those gripes and hold on for dear life!
Best, Dini9🙂

I’ll be crossing my fingers for you, David... tightly, so very tightly, and I'll be standing right there with you if it comes to that 😍

I’m heading in for a CT scan this coming Monday, and honestly, I haven't the slightest clue what I should be expecting...🤷

My mom passed away this morning.

The whole family is just feeling incredibly grateful for the extra time we got—both for her and for us. Sounds crazy, I know, but honestly, we couldn't have asked for a better outcome given the circumstances.

I’m just glad I actually realized how much she meant to me while she was still present enough to hear it. She was one of those rare souls who never had a selfish bone in her body—not a single bad thought or complaint, even at the end. She spent every waking moment looking out for everyone else, especially Dad, my brother, and me. She lived for our peace of mind.

Her heart was just too big for words—it feels almost cliché trying to describe it. During this whole brutal stretch, there were times when I felt completely paralyzed, just totally overwhelmed by the sheer strength and love she radiated.

What a beautiful soul. Fly high... fly far. Love you.

quietpilot87,
reading through everything you’ve posted, man, it really shows what an incredible, brave woman your mother was... she clearly passed so much of that strength down to you, too. I bet she was just so proud to have you by her side through it all.

I’m really rooting for you guys to pull together and get through these brutal times as a family.
I'm so incredibly sorry... 🙂

My whole family is just so grateful we got this much time together. For her, and for us. It might sound strange, but in a situation like this, I don't think we could have asked for anything more beautiful.

I feel lucky that I truly realized how incredible she was, and that I managed to let her know while she was still able to connect with me. She was the kind of person who, until the very last moment, never had a single selfish thought or a mean word. She never complained once; instead, she spent her final days looking out for everyone else—especially Dad, my brother, and me, making sure we were all doing okay emotionally.

Her heart was just so big that it’s hard to even put into words without sounding cliché. During this critical time, there were moments where I felt completely overwhelmed, and I just found myself leaning on her love and her strength.

Such a wonderful soul. Fly high... fly far. I love you.

I've been reading through all your posts. Your mom was truly blessed to have you. You have your Angel now... Hang in there.

My entire family is just profoundly grateful we had this much time together—both for her sake and ours. It might sound crazy to say, but given everything we’ve been through, there couldn't have been a more beautiful outcome.

I feel so lucky that I truly grasped the magnitude of who she was and managed to make sure she knew it while she was still able to hear me. She was the kind of soul who never harbored a single bitter thought or an ounce of selfishness; she never once complained. Instead, until her very last breath, she focused entirely on everyone else—especially Dad, my brother, and me, making sure our mental well-being stayed intact.

Her heart was so massive that trying to put it into words feels almost cliché. During this entire critical stretch, there were moments where I felt completely overwhelmed, and I found myself simply leaning on her sheer love and strength.

A beautiful soul... fly high. I love you.

🙂🙂😘
I am right there with you, heart and soul. May she rest in peace.

Our entire family is profoundly grateful for the time we were given—both for her sake and for ours. It sounds surreal, but in the context of everything we've been through, there couldn't have been a more beautiful outcome.

I feel a sense of peace knowing I truly understood the magnitude of who she was, and that I managed to make sure she knew it while she was still able to receive it. She was the kind of soul who, until her very last breath, never harbored a single bitter thought or an ounce of selfishness. She never once complained; instead, she spent every moment looking out for everyone else—especially Dad, my brother, and me, making sure our mental well-being stayed intact.

Her heart was so incredibly vast that even trying to write about it feels almost trivial, as if words would fail to capture the depth. During this critical stretch, there were moments where I felt completely overwhelmed, only to be steadied by the sheer love and strength of this woman.

A magnificent soul... fly high. I love you.

Please accept my deepest, most sincere condolences.

quietpilot87,
Honey, please accept my deepest condolences. You can tell... you're at peace, and that matters so much, because you did everything possible to make sure her soul could fly high just like she deserves.
