Scanning tips and tricks?

I just finished scanning a flyer, and honestly, I’m already wondering how I can go about editing it without having to start from scratch?

Adobe Acrobat Pro....

I usually spend my time scanning books or technical manuals I need for work, always sticking to the TIFF format. Once the scan is done, I pull that TIFF into Adobe Acrobat Pro to split up the pages and get everything ready for further processing. But man, I really stepped in it with this latest scan. I realized too late that I completely forgot to dial back the resolution settings—it stayed stuck at 600 DPI—and, because I guess I just wanted to make my own life difficult, I scanned a massive 1,000-page manual. The fallout? I ended up with a single TIFF file that’s a staggering 2.86 GB. 🤦 Now I’m stuck because I can’t even open the damn thing in Adobe; it just keeps throwing a "not enough memory" error right in my face.

Does anyone have a clue how I can actually open a file this bloated? Basically, I just need to find a way to convert this monster from a TIFF into a series of JPGs.

Maybe give it a shot with some different software that actually handles TIFF files properly.
