It’s just positional vertigo. It's benign, so there’s nothing to worry about regarding tumors or anything scary like that. Basically, it means the dizziness is triggered by how you move your head. Like, if you turn your head one way, everything starts spinning.

BPPV—positional vertigo—is actually the most common type out there. It usually gets triggered by moving your head the wrong way or being in a weird position, like when you're rolling over in bed, lying down, or tilting your head back too far. It typically lasts less than a minute, and you might deal with some rhythmic eye twitching, though your hearing should stay totally normal. These episodes can pop up every few days or even disappear for months at a time before coming back. Most of the time, positional vertigo doesn't even require treatment. But, if the dizzy spells get frequent or intense enough, doctors might use a procedure to break up or shift those tiny calcium particles sitting in the semicircular canals of your inner ear.
